The Beastmen race raced across the Seventh Realm. Their fastest and most reliable fighters urging each other to speed up to their max.
The Qi inside of them shifting towards their legs to enhance their running speed. The air slightly booming as the Beastmen race towards the area that the King had commanded.
Another group not wanting to race with the first group moved with urgent care but not as fast. These people were the ones that the king wanted to travel with the people inside the arena.
The pace going about a day beyond the first group and the pace of the first widening by a good margin.
The first group trying their hardest to reach the arena by midday the following day. This is to not only protect the arena and those who wish to bring harm to it but to protect the weak that may want to venture into the dungeon that will appear close by.
As the first ran it slowly became dark. The weariness on them fully catching up to them.
"Just a little ways away from the third safe house." A beastmen who knew the area we'll spoke.
"An hour or more of running?" Another one asked.
"If we walk an hour, besides, there are worst things besides walking up to a snake by a tree." The same one replied.
"The main path will also be better but take a longer time adding up to thirty minutes." Another one remarked who knew the main road better.
"Safe travels with longer time or a quicker time and potentially get us into trouble are our options?" The one who had a gold star on his clothes spoke up.
"Yes."
"Very well, everyone listen. We have a safer route to the third safe house. It will take longer but our route will be the main road. If we decide to traverse the wilds to get to the safe house, we will have to fight.
So give me what each of you are willing to do? If you cannot give me an answer or you believe that either route will do. I will say your option is the safer route." The one with the gold star spoke again.
Everyone decided to take the longer route. Not because they were afraid of the dark nor afraid of the beasts. It was just easier to take the main road and not allow any injuries and they could easily snatch prey.
As the night grew darker, they safely got several beasts around them as their meal. They safely arrived at the safe house. The fire inside the house already raging. The beastmen inside prepared the beasts to be ate.
As the meal was ate, the beastmen slowly began to go to sleep. Their day of running drained them both mentally and physically.
Meanwhile
"We have arrived at the second safe house." The second group's person with a gold star spoke.
As they entered the house, food was already prepared. Unlike the first group, this group was not supposed to fight during their trip.
They slowly began to eat. Their hunger already hurt and once the food was smelled. Their instincts took over.
This was a normal occurance for the Beastmen Race. For the first group, their training of starving themselves even with their hunger at the max.
Once the night had almost passed, the first group moved with urgency. Their speed the same as yesterday.
As the group raced across the Seventh Realm. Their determination to make it there was only second to their king. That is the way this group moves.
As the morning sun came into their eyes. Their sense of pride plummeted and their urgency increased. There was no telling how long the people at the arena would stay.
At the second house
"Time to Rise and Shine Weaklings!" The beastman with the gold star shouted.
Everyone woke up in a fervor. Their sense to their duty was already on their minds.
"Good. Move out."
As the group left, the ones inside made sure to keep the fire going as strong as possible. They did not know if another group was coming or not.
As the second group advanced, the first group seemed to hellbent on making each other so angry that their anger would push them to higher limits.
It did. By the time mid-morning came around, the first group made it to the arena.
