A bird entered into the man's tent before the sun rise. It was quickly dismissed as quickly as it came in.
"Time to read the letter." The man thought.
"Dearest Son-in-Law,
Today is a great day. I have finally broken the will of the woman's mother and enjoyed her savory insides. Her meat placed out on our table and each bite more enjoyable than the last. I am sorry that you were not able to attend.
As for the woman with you. You are free to do what you wish to her. Her father committed suicide after the death of his wife and being forced to watch us eat her. Truly, a great time.
There are a few men heading to the mines in search of your whereabouts. They should be to you by daybreak.
Let me not forget. If this mission to make that woman cry fails, even my daughter will pay the price of your stupidity. This is the will of my wife."
The man stopped reading for just a second and let that disgusting. He had not yet even taken the first step in their marriage yet due to the wife. Yet, she was already threatening his wife who was her daughter.
"For all that we know, you have already taken that other woman. That is why my wife wanted this insurance."
The man wanted to send a reply that the woman was not even worthy of being naked in front of the family begging for whatever she needed.
"Her sister has become a special toy for me. I hope that once you return. You also enjoy her. As for her brother, he gets his thousands strikes of a weapon and by nightfall he his healed to do it again."
The man was overjoyed by the way he spoke about the other two. He could get to join in once they return. Of course, he was planning to strike it big with the money from this deal.
"Here is one last piece of advice. If someone comes with any of these women behind the letter. Make sure not to disturb them or infuriates them. Most of all, do not double cross them. He is the man who holds the most powerful in the Nine Realms currently due to his future marriage to Demon's, Maximum's, and Life-giver's daughters.
Take care my son-in-law."
The man flipped the letter over and his eyes nearly fell out of their sockets. The man whom he had already laid traps for was the same man who he was going to try and kill.
"I am screwed." The man said.
He could not undo the traps that were placed ahead. He could potentially make them bypass it until the mine.
He dug into his pocket to find the traps that were placed around. The entire area expect for a snake like head could be seen from his map.
"Curse this shit." The man growled.
As the group began their way to the mines. Rex made sure to deactivate the traps that the group would for sure get close to. His steps faster than most, quieter than a stalking predator, and a gentle breeze blew to ensure his natural ability was not taken away.
As they got closer to the mine, the man felt something strange that no trap had yet to be triggered. Since it could have triggered on beasts, the man felt that this was just a waste of Qi Stones.
Most beasts naturally stayed away while most of the trap masters did their thing and set up the thousands of different traps.
As the group got closer to the mine. The man felt an unwelcome sign. As a sign on the mine warned those who wish to die enter.
"Prehaps this mine is the empty one." The man said.
"We shall enter anyways. Even if a small dragon comes, it will not be anything disastrous." War God stated.
Rex had aged the sign during the night. He told War God about the warning inside of it. He quickly went to where the deepest part of the mine was. Several baby dragons were looking at him.
"Great Dragons of the Seventh Realm, I ask that I am see your true faces." Rex announced.
Sure enough six came out. One completely red with black eyes, the second one green with yellow eyes, the third one yellow with green eyes, the fourth blue with purple eyes, the fifth one black with red eyes, the last one white with purple eyes.
"Greetings child of the Realms, what brings you down here to the lowest level of the four mines." The white dragon spoke.
"I am here to ask for crystals to restart the arena that is close by. Of course, I also have some other business to attend to. That can wait until we talk about the crystals." Rex announced.
"The crystals in here are part of our horde. Do you believe that taking our horde is worthy enough for you to live?" The red one spoke.
"I do need the crystals to restart the arena. I also wish to increase your horde by paying you for them. It will be a costly thing to activate. I would rather have good dealings than bad with dragons." Rex announced.
"A man worthy enough to speak his claims. Yet, his tone does not speak as if he is lying. Very well, I shall grant you some crystals. If the horde that belongs to me is not increased within five years. All arenas will be destroyed." The green one spoke.
"I wish that we can make that happen. Once I get a full crew inside the arena. I will make sure to get your payment coming back hopefully within four years." Rex announced.
"A good head worthy of dealing with dragons. I too shall help. It shall lessen the burden on the green one's head." The white one spoke.
"We all might as well. Granted the more you want, the more it will be harder to enjoy your arena playing games." The red one spoke.
"I need twenty Elder crystals. However you all wish to divide it up as." Rex replied.
The dragons began thinking.
