In the temple, Mara slowly went to Rex. Her nerves so bad, some would call it scaredy-cat syndrome. She slowly continued towards the man who is her Master.
Iris and Liz both continued to train. Their training consisting of using weapons to be able to defend and attack from various places together.
Their teamwork was not the greatest but not bad. Their skills good but far from being the level that they wanted it to be. All the while, Rex was cheering them now like a male cheerleader.
Rex continued to cheer them on until the door opened and Mara came in. Her nerves goes off even crazier now than before. Even during the introduction of herself to the women. She was not nearly this nervous.
She closed the door and took a stance away from the girls and began her own training. Since a two dummies went to train with her, Rex was not pleased but not upset. Even Iris and Liz wanted to take a break.
"Rex, we are going to take a small break and shower. Watch her and help her in any correction that she needs."
Both women told Rex and kissed him.
"Alright you two." He kissed them back.
Just small pecks on the forehead for now, for all three of them. That small peck for now was enough for them to know that the promises of Soul Mate were there.
"They are amazing." Rex thought.
He looked at both of them leaving their smiles completely hidden but their movement was still there.
When the door closed behind them, Rex continued to watch the woman in training. His eyes noticing many flaws but allowed her to make her own corrections due to the dummy talking to her.
He sat their in silence. Each step was being corrected yet her form was not ready for the correction. Her twist and turns small and concise all nearly perfect but whoever taught her got her the wrong training for her body type.
Rex walked over there to her. To the dummy, Rex was someone who needed to be brought down a notch but knew they did not have the power to.
"Watch me use a technique with this sword. Try to start using it now and I will try to send you a copy of it from the Eighth Realm." Rex said.
Mara stepped back. She watched Rex twirling the sword around yet not a single attack even got close to him. The dummies stupidified because that technique was for weakly women.
Here was Rex a man who is the Demon King of Annihilation using a female technique. That thought alone made the dummies realize how strong Rex is.
"This technique is called the Twirling of the Blades. It is mostly used by women using a sword. Axe wielders, basic entry into sword play, and even assassin's using longer daggers will use this technique."
The dummies now more afraid of the common folk than anyone else right now. If Rex truly said the truth, which he did, that would mean everyone uses that technique has a basis for stances and footwork.
The dummies began to use Heavenly Realm techniques against Rex. Rex's speed and reflex was even better than what the dummies imagined. Fear slowly began to fill their hearts, any Mortal Realm technique should not be able to keep up with a Heavenly Realm technique.
As luck would have it, a solid to a dummy caused a train reaction allowing Rex to dominate the others.
By the end of that session, Rex stood tall. His being almost overshadowing everyone else. This was a the best and worst feeling for the group. Mara was excited to see how strong the world truly is. The dummies it was the worst feeling to lose against a weaker Realm.
As Rex continued to teach Mara, her nerves finally calmed down and she realized how much of a difference that technique uses. Her body able to swiftly and accurately attack and defend while maintaining the same spot.
"Thank you, kind sir. My name is Mara. Supposedly I am to be a Battle Maid for the Demon King yet, I cannot do such a simple technique like this. I am afraid that I cannot join the Demon King like this."
Rex was seriously laughing. He did not think that she was going to be someone under him.
"It is fine. Go on young one, show me what you have."
By the end of the second hour, she had already mastered the basic basis of the technique and could start to move like a graceful butterfly.
"Good sir, what is your name?" The dummy who took the training of Mara asked.
"I am her Master." Rex spoke softly.
The dummy froze.
"Go on and introduce your pathetic being." Rex replied.
"We are soldiers who guarded this temple in the Heavenly Realm."
Rex understood why they could unlease such power against him but did not what the future held in store for him and Mara.
