Chapter 602 - Chapter 600 WHY DO YOU NOT?

A sudden explosion of anger and fatigue released from the healers. This was rightfully so because not having the Dragon's Hurt Disease is something that should have been there.

"Could it be because I'm was a body cultivator?" Rex asked.

This was the most basic explanation he could think of. That is of course without delving into the fact that the Goddesses gave him a second chance.

"I still believe that they could have it. I will do a study on those in the Second Realm. That could be the reason why they cannot ascend because the disease is not there. Not only that but it is still extremely hard to be a body cultivator when most people can simply snipe them out of existence." The older healer spoke.

"I believe the research team just studied any person who came out of the Stairway. It could still be that several body cultivators are still in the First Realm. If that is the case, why don't we start there?" The younger healer asked.

"Well, I believe that moat people do not try to help them out. Cultivation relies mainly on luck and one's preservance. For a body cultivator, resources are not given to them, they are spit upon because of their unique body structures, and yet I could fight toe to toe with people much higher in cultivation than what my body cultivation was." Rex stated.

Dropped jaws could be seen from the healers. Speaking such nonsense was akin to speaking lies. Yet, the truthfulness of his words caused shivers to run down their spines. Since when do people like this care often? Since Rex spoke to their face.

"WHY HAVE YOU NOT ALREADY FACED THE ASCENSION IN THE NINTH REALM YET THEN IF YOU CAN FACE SUCH PEOPLE?" The younger healer roared in the house.

Zahida was very much upset. She was not going to allow that to continue. She stepped up to the healer and slapped him several times across both facial cheeks and sent her foot up his ass.

Such a view was remarkable for Rex. The same could not be said for the older healer. Such acts against them could he warranted as betrayal.

"The slaps were for you yelling inside the house that I call home and for my Master not to crush you. Plus the fact that you are supposed to be healing my woman in the house, you have disgraced yourself. In order to make sure that the disgrace was been cleaned I gave you that kick in the ass.

Do you wish to continue neglecting your duties or yelling inside the house?" Zahida asked with the anger of a demon inside her.

"I am soorry for the trouble. I will make sure that you are not troubled." The young healer sweated.

He could have called it abuse if she had not worded it the way she did. As such, words can become one's weakness or strength by a simple tone difference or a change of wording.

Since the words 'supposed to be healing my woman in the house', disgraced yourself', and for the fact that Rex would could have squatted him like a bug could have triggered such emotional effects of the Healer Organization. The healer decided to just throw it under the rug.

The healing of Georgiana went smoothly afterwards. The older healer decided to speak up.

"Good sir, if I may, can you explain how you advanced in the Realms as a body cultivator?"

Rex closed his eyes and began to remember all the hardship he could remember. Everything from fighting armies upon armies, to fighting the Evil Dragon numerous times, and even participating in tournaments as much as possible, and we cannot forget the assassination attempts that seemed to become profitable only after the Third Realm.

"My biggest advantage was that my five beautiful women who have always been by cheerleaders, my troublemakers, my future Soul Mate, and loving family. Without each of them causing my heart to become as big as it is my life would not be as beautiful as it is now."

Such words could only be seen and heard ad someone older than what they were. Even the older healer seemed to pause in that moment.

"Hey, are you sure that you are still in your mid-twenties? I believe that you are like closer to sixty." The older healer laughed.

This caused Zahida to become angered. Rex patted her head. The anger was still there.

"Why do you think I am older than thirty sir?" Rex asked.

"You stated the way the women in your life were. That is very typical of someone near sixty. Of course, I could be wrong and being close to you since birth could have affected them." The healer spoke wholeheartedly.

Rex was glad to meet someone like him. He decided on a very important mission for the older gentleman.

"Sir, I have a question for you. Would you like to become a healer exclusively for my household? If anyone whom you deem worthy of being in my household can join as well." Rex spoke with favoritism.

The older healed laughed like a maniac.

"I'm sorry kiddo. My life will be over before yours is going to continue above the Ninth Realm. As much as I would enjoy that, I cannot join when my life is already gone."

Rex did not know why the man was so dishearted about this. Yet, Rex thought that the healer still had life in him.

"Why is your life already over?" Rex questioned.

"My family is dead. My Qi has been used up to heal people. I have maybe four healings left before I can no longer heal. I cannot join you. I would rather join my family in the next life and enjoy better circumstances." He spoke.

"WHY DO YOU NOT QUIT NOW? I NEVER KNEW THAT YOU WERE LIKE THIS! I DO NOT CARE ABOUT PUNISHMENT BECAUSE I," tears ran down the younger healers face, "always wanted you as a true father."

Zahida did not try to punish the man. Rex was glad that both men were inside the house.
