As the people entered the mountains. They found that moving through it was almost impossible. Thankfully, the Ninth Realm Maintainer had already found a suitable birth for that woman.
He felt the tug of Souls on the mountain. He understood that the climb was hard for the people who needed to complete his mission.
"I bless each of you to be able to climb the mountain efficiently."
A blessing glowed through the people. They were amazed. Climbing the mountain, easy, they could almost climb twenty Mount Everests without breaking.
The people arrived at the top of the mountain.
"First we break into eight groups. Each group's responsibility is the area around a mountain. Make sure not to anger the First Realm Maintainer."
As the group broke apart. Each group made sure to go as fast as possible. Even though this was considered neutral area to the map. It was far from it. It was just the leftovers from the Maintainer's getting what they wanted when they were formed.
As the groups made their way. Of course they helped each other. The only group who did not receive help was the group who just slid down the mountain. Their mission to just secure the front area.
They decided to wait to the others come back to search further forward. Why was this? To make sure that everyone would be safe.
They too would search when groups came back. To bad for them, two beasts were healed but did not take Qi into their Dantian.
As the groups got to their respective areas. The one closest to the Fifth Realm's Maintainer mountain found the two dead adult snow leopards. A makeshift camp was over them, a burial site was nowhere to be seen. Yet, a pillar seemed to be in middle of the camp.
Upon looking at it, seven distinct stones were placed around the pillar. The same seven were also around the two dead beasts a piece.
A signal response was sent to the other groups. As they wanted to know what to do. The Ninth Realm Maintainer looked at the makeshift camp. Tears ran down his cheeks, this was burial site. One too old to be recognized but still nothing to be ashamed of.
"Recall each of you will receive your reward as promised." He spoke.
Each of the people felt that he called him back. Even without the bodies, so that must mean something bad.
As the groups returned to the Ninth Realm Mountain
Rex was currently hiding with War God and the seven beasts. Feeling that each of the people that entered were from the Ninth Realm. Rex needed to make sure that the group was safe first. With War God making sure that each of the snow leopards were protected in case Rex fought.
Yet, a group stopped in front of Rex. They knew someone was in hiding. This group was the Sixth Realm's Mountain group.
"I know someone is there. I suggest that you visit the Ninth Realm Maintainer to allow him to see the beasts once more." The person said and left.
Rex was surprised at the thought. While he was surprised, the beasts were saddened. Something told them to visit but they did not want to. The conflict was truly remarkable.
"Let's go then." Rex said.
He decided that it was best to fight head first and decide later. He looked at the snow leopards.
"I know that each of you do not want to visit. I was going to visit them anyways. How about we head there first?"
Upon declaring that sooner or later they would have to see their former Master. They all nodded in agreement to visit him now.
The group headed in the direction that the others were. As they all found the other groups.
"Please enter the middle as we will be your swords and shields through the mountain." The group did just that.
The climb up the mountain was monstrous for Rex. As for War God, she already was carried by a snow leopard.
The further up they went, the harder it was on Rex. Yet, he found this to be good training. He felt that the entire force of the Realms were against him climbing.
Before he could pass out, they arrived at the top of the mountain. Feeling the weight off his chest, he began to fall over only for the two oldest to catch him. War God helped spread his body across the two eldest.
As the group finally arrived at the bottom of the mountain. The Ninth Realm Maintainer was there in tears. He did not know how to apologize to the beasts.
"I am so sorry my former little ones. I am glad that you have gotten to be with the man who healed the First Realm Maintainer. Please follow me one last time into my castle." He spoke lovingly.
As the group of snow leopards followed. The group that got them stood still. They were going to be patient. Yet, they all felt a tug on their Souls.
"The people who found my former darlings. I shall grant you all a peaceful reincarnation. For those who found the gravesite of the two adult beasts, I will grant you a greater blessing of being reincarnated into great helpers of the man who now has the beasts.
Of course, not a single one of you even tried to betray each other. I will grant you all resources that would cost millions of Qi Stones in the future where you will be lucky.
I will protect you all until you all can successfully protect yourselves or until I can give you all the resources I can. Whichever one happens first, I grant each of you the blessing that your hearts have set inside your Soul."
Like particles of light, each of the souls found peace knowing that a great service was done. For those who found the graveside, they were wondering why the mission changed but that failure became their success.
This changed the way the Ninth Realm would fight against the Shadow People. From the way the destroyed soul would no longer find peace to the way that now ninety people would have luck beyond their wildest dreams in the Ninth Realm.
