As the duo felt love enter their lives. They also knew that Rex needed to leave. Since Georgiana could not leave her post. Zahida would never betray Georgiana nor would she allow Georgiana to be alone. The duo knew that staying there was currently their best option.
"With regards to our best interest, I hope that you understand what I am about to say." Zahida spoke.
Georgiana already knew that. Rex already was going to do that. Zahida still wanted to speak.
"The current maintainer of the First Realm, Georgiana. The newest member of your Battle Maids, Zahida. We both need to stay away until the current maintainer of the First Realm is either replaced or killed.
Since I would rather die than allow her to. That would mean that both of us would die. I hope that you understand this predicament." Zahida spoke in a truthful tone.
Georgiana knew that this was the case. Hearing it straight for Zahida's mouth was something that most people could never get over, especially from a Royal Family.
"I do not worry the day you two can come to meet my other wives and Soul Mate. I do worry about if you two are going to he hurt or worst." Rex told them and kissed their foreheads.
Although, he needed to explain why their planet was destroyed. He felt that speaking it to them now would damage the relationship.
Before Rex could think, the two saw a glimpse of a truth in his eyes. They subconsciously gripped the sheets on the bed.
"We can stay with you if you truly need to tell the truth." Georgiana spoke.
As if Rex felt that he had indeed wronged them. He felt that he needed to.
"There was a time when I fought an ancient beast or ancient being. It still feels so unreal that I did something, so vulgar because of my shortsightedness.
Do I regret fighting it? No. Do I regret the choice of killing it? Yes. Now, I have been having to clean up my mess. This mess has lead me both to you and to the titans of the universe.
I fought and killed millions of humans. I have been able to be blessed by the Goddesses of the Nine Realms. I have even destroyed my home planet due to nothing.
I forced either people to live here or die alone. Yet, that aloneness only keeps women looking at me," Rex began to tear up from his emotions.
"I have done nothing but killed trillions of people. I have destroyed so many homes, yet I try to act better than some other rogue bastard. Yet, I caused so much destruction and nothing but death follows me. That is the true me. The me who does not stand a chance against a prepared army of Godly Realm Cultivators. Yet, I can stand toe to toe, do hand to hand combat, and not fear death from anyone under the Godly Realm. If you still wish to stay, let me know." Rex told them the truth.
As if they subconsciously understood that he was the reason for the first part of their planet being destroyed. The girls felt their hearts waver.
While what Rex said was true. The women knew that he indeed did not force the Shadow People to invent anything to take over their world. Nor did he want them to become powerful.
"What made you do it?" Zahida asked.
Rex remembered when he first saw the faerie creatures in the Fifth Heavenly Realm. How they had to die in a miserable manner.
"Because a little creature no bigger than my hand. They are extremely cute and worthy of being saved. Their suffering and pain kept most of the worlds and other Realms safe.
I will not guarantee that some worlds and/or Realms would be hit by the Shadow People. They would not be as advanced as they are now."
Zahida smiled and kissed Rex.
"I cannot speak for Georgiana. I will stay. By ending one suffering, that caused you to bear their suffering now. Your heat tells me that you truly do wish that they were always protected. Allow me to stay by your side."
Rex felt the warmth of her body against his.
"I have to admit. I do not know if our paths would be the same or not back on our old world, if not for you. I have loved being by Zahida's side since she was little.
I probably announced like a spoiled brat that I would marry Zahida. Even still, I know that deep down there is no way to fix our broken world without proper ways in the Nine Realms.
I ask this not as the First Realm Maintainer, nor as a future wife, but as a fellow humanoid. Can you fight against the Shadow People? Are you going to fight against them? Will you allow us to stay by your side?"
Zahida smiled and wanted to kiss Georgiana but held back for the time being.
"Can I fight? Of course. Wil I fight? On the front lines with power equal to world ending fights. Will I allow the two of you to stay by my side? I will have to be able to say no to either one of the first answers not to be able to hold you both."
The joy in both of them showed that their choice was the right one. Even though their man was weaker. That by no means would be an excuse for a woman to stay by his side. That was just from their world's prespective.
What about the Nine Realms and Cultivators? There are multiple signs of strength. Currently, he was working on the second way instead of worrying about himself currently.
What is strength without allies? A lone wolf that dies miserable. What are allies without any strength? Doll like people. Can one survive without the other? Yes but it takes a great ordeal and Rex does not have the time to do that.
