As the group found the fight funny. A small twitch came from Rex. They hoped that he was waking up.
However
"YOU THINK YOU ARE STRONG ENOUGH TO PROTECT THAT CHILD?" A voice boomed inside a dream Rex was having.
"No. I am not strong enough, however I will use everything I have to help protect that child." Rex said.
This was the main cause of the headache. He was fighting for the sake of the baby. It started with just his subconscious but due to the use of using Qi to clear the path on the way to Sect. The person was able to fight into the more clear visions of Rex. This dream is the highest form of it.
"A human who is barely old enough to understand that is still trying to take my child. I applaude you. Now, DO YOU THINK THAT I WILL ALLOW YOU TO TAKE MY CHILD?" The voice boomed.
The voice was hopeful that this was scaring Rex. Since the voice had traveled through Rex's subconscious. The voice found that Rex could defend the child from harm. That he was building a build enough harem to help the child enter the Heavenly Realm.
That was all the voice needed. Still the voice also had foresight of a war causing the Nine Realms to fight to the death for an extended period of time. The voice dared to not let his child be hurt.
"SHE WILL BE PROTECTED BY ME! OTHERWISE, PROVE YOUR WORDS!" The voice boomed.
Still Rex did nothing. This was infuriating to the voice. Rex was not trying to fight he was tanking all the damage. Rex knew that he could hurt himself or the baby if he tried to fight this voice. He did not realize that the baby had left his arms.
"I cannot fight. Your child is currently within my arms." Rex politely responded.
"Oh, so you knew that? As expected of someone of your caliber. However, she is not in your arms currently." The voice replied.
Rex was stunned because he could clearly feel her pulse in arms. Her Qi was painfully obvious. Rex was wondering why he still felt her.
"Can you explain this to me? I still feel her and her Qi in my arms." Rex said.
The voice too was curious about this. There still should not be a reason for this. The voice still answered.
"There are special beings within the Nine Realms. You found the special being within the Fifth Realm, inside the magma. You may not have been able to completely recognize that person. He did help you while you were within the magma."
Rex was surprised because he had even known that someone was close to him within the magma. He felt that it was his own work in protecting himself.
"Before you continue, can I ask a question about that person?" Rex asked.
The voice seemed to allow Rex to ask the question.
"I personally do not remember anyone from within the magma. Even while I was forming the land for the temple. I still did not feel anyone. How did I meet this person?" Rex asked.
"You used Heavenly Qi to protect yourself. Yet, that same Qi should have killed you within the Mortal Realms, even inside that magma. Did nothing occur to you about something special happening?" The voice asked.
Rex nodded no.
"Yes. That is the reason why you could not sense him. He was in front of you allowing your Heavenly Qi to keep you safe. That is not all, when the land for your temple was built. He was the one to input that inside of you. Not for you but to increase the depths of knowledge and power instead of trying to force it into people.
Although we people are powerful there are still certain limitations we control. The First Realm has almost lost their person. She was beautiful, due to people abusing her power. She has lost the ability to control the First Realm. She does not have much longer.
The Second Realm person is in hiding. No one truly knows if it is a male or female. Everytime we try to talk it is always a different tone of voice. As for the Third Realm and up, we are still full of life. It could be the way of cultivation too.
However, back to our original question. Do you want to try and make that daughter of mine yours?" The voice asked.
"YES!" Rex replied happily.
It was not that he was happy to have a child. It was the joy that the baby would bring to the group that had him overjoyed.
"I see. Well, there are three requirements. First, help restore the First Realm person back to life. Second, your Battle Maiden and Battle Maid have to fight against a special opponent. Third, tell me the true gender of the Second Realm person."
Rex was trying to figure out how to find these people.
"There is a special way to find the people. When the time comes your subconscious will go there. Since you have met one and talked to another, you will now almost have to meet the rest of us.
Do not worry. I will hold my end of the bargain unless one of these two breaches occur. First, my baby is mortally injured or about to be mortally injured. I will not allow her to die with some strangers. Second, you cannot enter the Heavenly Realm through normal cultivation." The voice spoke.
Rex thought about.
"Indeed. Let me ask you a question. Will she naturally come looking for you?" Rex asked.
"Depends." The voice replied.
"I want you to be her grandfather instead of father." Rex said.
Although he was technically her father. The voice was still curious as to why Rex would want such a thing.
"Explain."
"I will try to send her to you. Instead of me saying time to go to father. I will say we are going to see your grandfather." Rex said.
The voice seemed pleased with this statement. A silent agreement came upon the two men.
