When the group exited the Stairway. Rex was in the middle of a Sword Training arena. This arena was crafted by swordsman for Sword battles by using swords.
Each of the pillars showcased their wealth by their Sword marks. To make it better, each pillar was guarded by a Sword.
Rex was truly amazed at the sight. When he went to pick one up, he felt the burden of lifting a War Sword.
The War Swords are comparable to Rex swinging his axe constantly in the War Era of the Fourth Realm. Each kill stacking up and making the weight of the axe unbearable.
Rex could feel the weight of death on the first Sword he picked up. The memory of him charging forward to clean up the Waring Realm was in mind.
Two swordmasters tried to stop Rex from his dance. They were both immediately knocked back with the sword. The feeling of justice filled them.
The Sword that Rex was dancing with was called War Sword. The former owner was a swordmaster who went only to stop wars. He would fight armies by himself and won the title War God after his death.
Each step with the Sword was like the swordmasters were seeing their fallen comrade once again. The bigger they come, the harder they fall.
The saying was truthful because when the owner of the Sword Arena tried to unlease a singular attack. Rex opened his eyes Demonic Qi unleased from the Sword and matched the attack.
"Demons, humans, and beastmen all have the right to learn Swordsmanship here. You on the other hand, are going to have to set a date with that Sword if you wish to take it home." The Arena master said.
Rex was surprised at this place. There should not be any place other than his City that does not discriminate.
"How do you judge people than?" Rex asked.
"By allowing them to choose a Sword. If they fail four times, they cannot enter. If they fail three times, they do not earn resources from here. They gather what is needed and we tell them where to go. Other than that all others who succeed join the Swordmasters Arena."
Rex was surprised to hear this was the Swordmasters Arena. He never got a chance to even see this before. Even when he had free time to move around, he never could see even the pillars.
"By the blessings of the gods, I have been able to see such wonderful things. Here is a testament to the wonders." Rex said loudly.
He placed both hands on the pillar that he got the sword from. A faint release of Heavenly Qi released from the pillar.
The Swordmasters knew of the Heavenly Qi and immediately bowed to such a person able to release it.
"Tell me lad, when would you like to set the date up?" The Arena master asked.
"On the day I return with my future Soul Mates." Rex replied.
"We shall always keep one opening for your return." The Arena master replied.
Rex looked at the sword in his hand. He tried to return it for the time being. Yet, the sword decided to stay with Rex. Rex allowed it to with the permission of the Swordmasters.
Although, they did give their permission because the sword chose Rex. Seeing that, they had no choice but to chose him to wield that sword.
"Remember lads, from two days from now. We shall keep one open slot in case that man returns. I want to personally see the action between former owner and current owner." The Arena master said.
"What about tomorrow's schedule?" They asked.
"We have to uphold it. We had to already have it set. Whereas we can change the day after tomorrow currently.
That man not only is powerful but intelligent as well. To be able to block my attack with only Demonic Qi. His power is at least as strong as the War God's.
Not only that, we have to prove to the trainees here that all are equal. It has been a while since a demon showed up. Even if it is the new Demon Lord."
With that, the other Swordmasters went and prepared for Rex's arrival.
