Most people think that just one little thought can cause massive ripples in everyone. Yes, it can and will. For a human to become a demon, there has to be something to trigger them.
Some might be born or develop such thoughts to cause them to become triggered. For others, abuse can be the trigger to cause them to become triggered. As for the four men that traveled with Dinero.
The trigger was actually following the orders from the demons called Rex and Dinero. Dinero had the men not only enjoy the pleasures that the bandits leaders did here in the town. They also knew that their minds had already been broken by the their capturers. By enjoying what the leader's did, they slowly got into the mindset of becoming Greed themselves.
Since money can cause greedy actions from people. These men also got extremely greedy and wanted to enjoy more of what they were having.
By enjoying more of what they could, they slowly started to injest Demonic Qi from Dinero and each other. Since Dinero was with them watching what they were doing.
Does everyone who do that stuff become demons? No.
Dinero had seen people using the evil thoughts in their minds to better themselves. He wondered why these men who had gotten a second chance would become such demons.
He sat back watched as women were bent over and their clothing ripped off. The screams of terror has they knew that no matter what, they would forever be scarred.
Why were the women targeted? They belonged to the bandit leaders. The screams of terror were nothing knew. The people who followed the Codicia were willing to sell their souls to become demons.
"Life is truly mysterious." Dinero thought as the last bandit leader fell.
The Codicia were enjoying the women that belonged to the last leader. Since there were plenty of then, each of the Codicia got their personal woman from each leader.
This pleased them. So much so, that the women that belonged to each of them were forever wondering what caused good men to become bad.
It was not because they personally knew them. It was because they were the men who always did good things for their neighbors and tried helping the town when they could.
Here the men were taking pleasure in causing trouble. What had changed so much to cause good men to do evil things?
Dinero explained what happened to the men. How the room was sprayed with blood with their capturers and who saved them.
The women cried their hearts out. Although they belonged to the bandit leaders. They always felt it was a necessary evil to do to be like these men.
What happened next?
The women began to feel Demonic Qi entering them. This caused them to be able to cultivate Demomic Qi.
From this encounter, Dinero felt that too much was happening too fast. What he could he do? Nothing at all.
Through this change, the demons found a city to claim as a entry point. Who guarded the most vile of demons? The Demon God and Rex.
Once the demons wanted to take over the city. Dinero told Rex this. Within a week of birthing demons, Rex was having to chain up the demons.
An eerie glow came from Codicia.
"Do not worry, when your hearts become stable. I will personally bring you back. Remember, do not allow the truest of evil take over. That is where the Demon God will forever slaughter you."
The Codicia felt that their Master and Demon King was telling the truth. They tried to hide the truest of evils within their hearts.
Through out watching them, the Demon God could no longer stand how wretched the demons were.
"Allow me to take them out. If they honestly try to do pure evil. Smite them with the strongest of pure evil." Rex asked.
The Demon God agreed.
Upon looking at them in the dungeon. Rex could feel the evil intent coming out of there. He hoped that Codicia was not a part of it.
When he passed the first level, the evil intent grew stronger. That was naturally normal because out of the six hundred and sixty-six floors in the dungeon belonging to the Demon King, the truest evil lies with the bottom floor.
Rex continued down until he hit the Tenth floor. When he did, he found all four of them cowering in fear.
Unwillingly, Rex had a follower. This follower was part of the Demon God. This could shift into the evilest of creatures or purest of men. What the Codicia found was that the truest evil had planted a good seed inside of them. There was no way for them to get rid of it.
Rex started the trek back up the dungeon.
The Codicia felt that the chance to do true evil was ahead. What they found was death and unexpectedly.
"Here I hoped that the humanity in each of you would prevail. Alas, I lost that bet." Rex said.
"Bets are made to keep people in check. When you go overboard, you suffer. When you can back off, a small victory. If you manage to get the big winnings, you win a lifetime of either pleasure or suffering. It all depends how you the gambler roll the dice." The Demon God told Rex.
"I gambled and lost. Although the demons in here are trival, the truest evil still lies at the bottom of the dungeon forever sealed, correct?" Rex asked.
A devilish smile appeared on the Demon God's face.
"If only Rex knew." A creature at the bottom of the dungeon said staring up.
Rex felt the evil intentions increase.
A small evil seed tried to implant itself inside of Rex. In that moment, a blinding light of Holy Qi filled the Demon Realm.
"We good over there, Demon God?" Rex asked.
The Demon God seemed to have forgotten what happened right before he and Rex entered the dungeon.
At the deepest part the truest evil had gotten hit severely bad and this caused it to rest for just a couple of months.
The ending happened right after Rex entered the Fifth Realm.
