As the group moved into the city. There was a joyous occasion going. That was the return of Lilith.
People had already sent messages to let the town know. Since Rex's wives were the first priority around here, everyone made sure to quickly celebrate it.
They would have liked to have a feast. There was no notice and just the appearance. The city instantly moved to the gate to welcome her.
Iris, Liz, Violet, Margaret, and Amber were together shopping. Once they heard the news, they bought what they needed and went to the house.
Ophiuchus did not know that Lilith came back because she was with the Shadow Nine Tailed Fox and the baby.
Bella and her maids were hunting and also did not know about the Lilith's return. If not for this reason, Lilith would have roasted her over a firepit and cursed her while doing it.
When the group arrived at the gate. A welcoming cheer was there for Lilith. She was so embrassassed that her entire body turned red.
She put the new women in front of her. The Demon King of Will on her left, Demon Rex on her right, and the Goddesses behind her.
"Such is stupidity." Lilith was embrassassed about the situation and what she done.
The group waved for Lilith. Children whooping and yelling for the First Wife Lilith. The young couples trying to bless Lilith with good luck. The older people wanting to know how good the nights in bed were.
No one could do anything as the group had to continue. Eventually, the sound of Margaret and Amber made the townsfolk give just a little so they could move.
As the group rushed to the house. A feeling of dread, came into Margaret and Amber. They quickly went to the house.
They began checking everything. They were not going to give any reason for the house to be destroyed. When they started checking, Iris, Liz, and Violet asked what they were afraid of.
"Something bad is happening or will happen." Margaret said.
The trio went outside. When the group arrived at the house. They found it funny that those two felt the bad happening with Rex.
"Well, their bad feeling was with Rex." The Demon King of Will replied.
The group moved inside. The Demon King of Will made sure that nothing was wrong inside before they moved.
Margaret and Amber got asked not to worry about the house and start putting everything back.
They did not want to but when they got told everything in the house was fine. They knew why their feeling of dread came.
"This is about Rex then?" Margaret asked and said at the same time.
A wave of understanding but not wanting to actually speak it came up.
The group sat down. Lilith joined the other wives as the group went into three different piles. The wives, the trio whom Rex helped, and the others.
The Phoenix was the first to introduce herself. She just named herself as Demon Phoenix, who married Fengbo. Fenggi was next introduced herself as the daughter-in-law to the Demon Phoenix. Finally, Fenggi introduced herself as the woman who helped keep Rex in check with the women beside her.
The wives laughed. They knew know hard it was keeping Rex in check. They also knew that there was nothing that could have been done.
"He is truly unique in who he gets by his side." Margaret joked.
This was not a joke to the others. They knew that this was the truth.
"So, what does your relationship mean to Rex?" Iris asked.
"We are perfectly fine with being slaves." The Phoenix replied.
A frown came upon all of the wives. This was not a term that was likable. Although, servant was better. It was still a far cry from what they were expecting.
"We are going to move on. So, what brings everyone here today?" Liz asked.
"Something called the Dark Abyss." Fenggi replied.
The room seemed to turn ugly. As far as the wives knew, Rex had already killed the Dark Abyss.
"Explain." Iris growled angrily.
"On their planet, this is a jewel called Spirit Totel. These jewels is what the Dark Abyss truly is. Apparently, Rex only killed a body of the Dark Abyss." The Demon King of Will replied.
He was afraid how they would react to what he needed to say but he knew it had to be done.
"Also, when we were fighting against the Dark Abyss the first time. I did feel another body bit I never told Rex. First, it already took everything we had to destroy that Dark Abyss. Second, the other body could be purer or more evil than the original. As far as I know, the other body is someone who can easily defeat Rex even now." The Demon King of Will said sadly.
Tears were rolling down the wives' faces. They were not ready to hear that Rex could be defeated now. What would happen when he gets defeated? Grow stronger? Give up? Or allow the other worlds to die?
"I believe in Rex." Tiamat said.
The group turned towards her.
"Although, most worlds worship me as evil. I simply follow what I will. If I will for something bad, guess what that makes people think I'm evil. If I wish for good, people will think I'm good.
More than anything, Worlds need to be saved in order for there to be a reason for me to stay around. If there is no reason for me to stay around, I will end up like Bahamut." Tiamat finished.
The group was dumbfounded at what Tiamat said. They did not know why she was speaking like that.
"What happened to Bahamut?" Mera asked.
"He forced the dragons away from his territory. Since he had no followers, he lost all of his strength. When he got challenged, he died. He thought doing a good deed was better than his life." Tiamat replied.
A moment to let the information sink in from Tiamat was done. No one wanted to raise their head first or be the last.
"I believe that Rex will lose the fight against the Dark Abyss still. If we can cheer him on, we will be able to see growth never before seen." The Demon King of Will said.
Although, he tried using his Will power. It was declined for the fact of the Dark Abyss. He could only make speculation.
"Lead us there then." Iris said.
