When Rex finally exited the hole. He was mentally exhausted. That was because every turn became eight. Every stair became thirty.
Upon exiting, Ophiuchus was there. Rex was honestly surprised. He knew how hard it was for her to go anywhere without drawing attention.
"How you are doing?" Rex asked.
Ophiuchus would not answer. Instead she gazed at his body. She knew Nephelem had left the Fourth Realm. Upon seeing Rex exit the hole. She found him extremely attractive.
"How about you and I get married?" Ophiuchus said.
Rex was honestly stunned. He not only had to deal with Nephelem being a necromancer. He also had to explain it to Lilith and everyone else.
With Ophiuchus wanting to marry Rex. He found that he was not ready for the news. He could not just outright say it.
"Should we first visit the other dragon?" Rex asked.
"Sure." Ophiuchus answered.
The duo went to other families. They did not need as much help as Rex thought. He had helped the other ruler and that help transferred to the new ruler here.
The duo went to where the family that Ophiuchus wanted to help. Along the way, a few children wanted Rex to come with them. Ophiuchus agreed. Rex went with the children while Ophiuchus went inside the house.
When Ophiuchus entered, a maid directed Ophiuchus to a room. As to why the maid knew why she was there? Everyone who came tried to help the person who was sick.
The person who laid down on a bed had a lot of weight on. It was hard to tell if the person was a male of female.
"My dearest father, I too have seen Ophiuchus." The person's voice sounded feminine.
Ophiuchus did not respond but just gazed upon the person.
"Such familiar gazes. Did you happen to see me when I was little?" The person asked.
Ophiuchus blinked once.
"I know that is your way of agreeing. I would like to hear your voice just once if I could." The person asked.
"Reveal your entire being to me." Ophiuchus said.
The person was stunned because no one had ever wanted to see the person.
"My left arm does not work to well any more. My right arm has been disabled for a few years now. You may uncover me, if you wish. I can also call the maid in here, if you desire." The person said.
Ophiuchus gently uncovered the person. The person had male lower half while the upper was feminine. This was why no one ever wanted to see the person.
"I am sorry that I am such a failure of a person." The person began to tear up.
Ophiuchus covered the person up. A simple touch on the forehead felt extremely bad to Ophiuchus. She did not know why but this felt like someone had cursed her.
"Let me grab someone." Ophiuchus said.
The person was once again shocked. Hearing Ophiuchus once was a blessing. Hearing her twice was a miracle.
Ophiuchus went to get Rex. Along the way, she found several happy families. She was glad that she wanted to be with Rex forever.
Even though she knew he already had a Soul Mate. She hoped that she could be with him.
When she turned the corner, she found Rex dispelling a small curse using Demonic Qi.
Ophiuchus was not happy about that. She knew that even the greatest of healers had to rely on such evil Qi.
In the blink of an eye, the elderly man was cured. The man would have kissed Rex if not for several other men and women gazing at him.
"Please accept whatever you need as payment. Even my life, if it has any cost." The elderly man said.
This made Ophiuchus mad. Not only did the man want to pay Rex. If what he had was not enough, why give your life away?
"Sir, just be sure to visit the City of Eden when you can travel to the Third Realm safely." Rex said.
The elderly man nodded. He got up slowly and walked to his house. The longer he stood, the more Qi filled his body.
"I have truly experienced a life worth living. I will visit the City of Eden with my family and make it my grave site." The man thought.
Rex turned to see Ophiuchus. She knew that this was going to be tough. She hoped that Rex could dispel whatever the person had without using Demonic Qi.
The people followed Rex who was following Ophiuchus. When everyone arrived at the house. The townsfolk felt fear. They knew that something terrible was inside the house.
Rex followed Ophiuchus. The maid allowed them to enter the room. The maid left.
Rex knew that the maid was a demon. He hoped that the maid did not put the cure on this person.
Rex touched the person's forehead. Rex knew immediately that the maid had put the curse on the person.
"Please call your maid back please." Rex said.
The person did. The maid entered with a happy smile.
"Is something wrong?" The maid asked.
"Why did you curse this person?" Rex asked.
All eyes went on to the maid. She was not ready to answer just yet.
"My why do people always suspect a maid, butler, or close family?" The maid asked.
"I do not ask as a human but the Demon King. Why did you curse this person?" Rex asked.
The maid froze. Ophiuchus felt her knees shake. The person felt that her life was about to end right now.
"You are the New Demon King Rex?" The maid asked.
"Yes." Rex replied.
The maid bowed and said, "I was tasked by the under rulers of the Demon Realm to keep curses flowing. This person seemed to take more than what was supposed to. In return, it caused this person to have both female and male parts."
"Any way to dispel the curse with out killing him or her?" Rex asked.
"Not that I know." The maid answered.
The person felt conflicted. It was her own body that allowed too much of the curses to be absorbed that caused this.
Ophiuchus wanted to kill the maid. She knew that killing was an easy way out.
Rex understood that the maid was trying to fix the problem instead of allowing it to just be there. He was glad to have a demon like this.
"Take this person to the City of Eden in the Third Realm. There is another demon maid that goes by the name of Bella. She will direct help to my Soul Mate Lilith." Rex said.
The maid was shocked beyond belief. That was a name that no one ever thought would be married.
The person felt good that help was coming. The person hoped that it was not too late.
Ophiuchus was glad that Rex had the beginnings of the way to help the poor person.
