The man who got information from Rex
He set off on his journey. He had always been true to his word. When he found out that someone much younger than him could be stronger and smarter. He set a journey to better himself.
Is there a better way to start the journey than to go to one of the most famous towns in all of the Fourth Realm? Absolutely. If no money is available, how does someone make it there?
Simple, they take Quests there. Was this man settling for a some goal? Never has and never will.
Killing a fee beasts on the way their was nice. The Qi Stones he got was barely a hundred. That is like having chump change in one's pocket.
Upon entering the town, he found several beautiful women walking around. None of the townsfolk would even go near them.
The first one the man tried to talk to was Liz. She was pleasant at first. When he asked for a night together. He got blasted from underneath him.
Like a weird trio that would always be sent flying into the air. He also got that experience. No matter how powerful the explosion was. The man accepted the blast with dignity.
The next day
Instead of talking to Liz today. He found Iris to talk to. She did not even give him a chance to speak before darting away.
He was not very happy. He decided that he needed to be the bigger man and allow her have two minutes before he chases after her.
When four minutes had passed. The man starts to dart after Iris. He found her extremely fast. She had an evil smile on her face. In the next moment, he got blasted again.
The townsfolk had already known not to bother those girls. The poor man was not even trying to talk to the regular townsfolk. They felt pity for their town being blown to kingdom come two days in a row.
That was not even the worst part. Several beasts were approaching the town because of the commotion going on.
The townsfolk did not have a clue that they were being watched from afar. Iris and Liz felt gazes on the city. No one knew what the gazes were.
The man entered the town late at night. His smile seemed to bring fortune to the weak and poor. He carried everyone to a restaurant and inn.
Usually, these people were frowned upon to enter. Seeing the man who got blasted twice with such a gentle smile. No one dared to rebuke any of them.
Guards started to yell during the night. This caused more ruckus than any other time. Cultivators even went to find out what was going on.
That is when they saw a horde of beasts. Everything from carnivores to just plain wrecking herbivores. The guards and cultivators were ready to help defend the town.
The man casually walked out and started the fight. Beasts fell and blood stained the perfect smile. People were wondering why he had such looks, good instincts, but horrible way of talking to people in general.
The next moment, darkness seemed to get darker. The man became a figure dancing with a white blade.
He failed to notice a snake. That snake bit him. The darkness faded back into night.
The townsfolk saw a hundred dead beasts. There were still at least a hundred behind the dead. What seemed like in impossible victory turned into a war of survival.
Cultivators teamed up to fight. It was still at a disadvantage. It took at least four to take down a singular beast. The town had barely sixty cultivators. Fourth guards were trying to use everything they had to keep the walls from crumbling.
Iris and Liz had enough of the show. They walked to the top of the wall. When they could see the beasts clearly.
"RETURN TO THE TOWN!" Iris ordered.
The cultivators started to retreat quickly. It was not without help.
Iris used her Water Qi to form a wall to block the upcoming beasts. A few were able to come through it. They met a burning fire that roasted the people.
When all was said and done. Nearly fifty beasts were still outside the water wall. No one had seen where the man had gone.
The next moment an elephant type beast walked through the water wall.
Wrapped closely to the tusks was the man. The beast had become smarter immediately. This shocked the people around them.
Iris was another ball of water to try to stop the beast from advancing. The beast was able to use the person to destroy the Water Qi.
Liz shot two fire spears into the eyes. One was unaffected while the other was temporarily disabled.
The man had gotten loose enough to stab the base of the eye that was disabled. A primal roar that shook the wall and scared the other beasts was heard.
Another problem had arisen now. That was the blade was stuck in the eye. The elephant beast raised itself up on two legs.
The man got chucked into the wall. The weird part was that he could not feel his legs. He looked down and knew that his spine had been damaged.
The worst had yet to come. As the elephant beast roared again and set it sights where the man was lodged at.
"Goals that are too low are not worth having. For I shall still win even in this predicament." The man shouted.
Liz began just burning the other beasts away. She knew there was only two chances to stop the beast from destroying the town.
The beast roared again and Iris shot several Water Balls into its mouth. This caused massive amount of water to go into its lungs.
The beast did not know what had happened because Iris was on its blind side.
The man broke out of the wall. He barely managed to land safely before crawling to the elephant.
To the elephant's surprise, it could no longer see the man in the wall. It tried to locate him.
It was too late as the sword went deeper into the eye and finally into the brain.
The elephant began to fall forward. Before it could crush the man, Iris used a semi water shield around the man.
Everyone was proud to have such marvelous duo in the town. They knew if it was not for them, the town would have been lost.
The man recovered within a week and began to say it was him you caused the victory to be grand.
The townsfolk were not happy and sent him on his way out without a single Qi Stone because the restaurants charged more for the food that the weak and poor got.
He set his goal to get even more Qi Stones to buy equipment. He realized that he did not even have a sword any more.
He found several decent limbs and made spears before claiming that he would return to finish paying the people.
The goal he set became so high that even Rex had to drag him back to his cave to learn humility.
