The town in which Rex and Baby Wyvern were at was full of neighboring towns and villages. Most of them traveled for a day or two just to see Rex.
"He does look like the man who won the wars."
People were whispering. This made Rex feel completely uncomfortable. He remembered when he first won the Waring Realm, how people flocked to him.
This was even worst because people already knew about him.
"Why does this always happen?" Rex asked in an inn.
Even though he did not want to admit. He did want to rebuild the home he had in the Fourth Realm. The problem was that he needed it to be perfect.
The house he had was almost everything he imagined. The biggest issue was the original builder died.
The next one could not finish the building like Rex imagined. It was more than enough for the group. Rex had climbed faster and achieved more now. He hoped to claim the house that was supposed to be his.
He went to find the person who built his house originally. He hoped to have a great day. When he exited the inn, he found the women were already waiting for him with his parents.
"Congratulations." Rex's parents both said.
Rex hugged them, one in each arm. Iris and Liz both kissed a cheek. Rex kissed their foreheads.
The group began their journey to a remote house in the city. Inside was a singular man. He had already heard of Rex. He was not interested in seeing him.
Rex knocked on his door.
The man answered. Seeing the group outside his house. He allowed them to enter.
A simple conversation ended with the builder locking the biggest contract of his life. The day was still early. Rex and the group decided to head to the closest inn.
Although this town had all of his memories in it. He wanted more memories with his parents. He ordered another two rooms.
This was so the women could talk privately with the little girl. Rex's parents could spend the night in their own room.
Everyone else decided to head in for the day. Rex went to find the closest family that needed his help.
Rex decided to head there first. He was not going to spend much time there. When he ran it was obvious to everyone that he could have stopped the wars easily.
This made the people inside the town pray to the Goddesses that he had no intention of hurting them. Even a wandering Priest set up his place to pray for the current town.
The Goddesses both had a good time hearing the people. They knew that Rex would not hurt them. That did not mean that they would not answer them.
"On the new dawn, the person in question will not harm this town." Mera said.
Mera's voice vibrated through the town. Peace fell on the town. The people who were from other towns and villages decided to move their families here.
There was nothing stopping Rex from destroying the other towns and villages. Even Iris and Liz both felt that their pitifulness was on board with the greatest of people.
Rex finally reached the town. A family that had lost everything could be seen on the outskirts. Rex stepped close to them.
"Help this family restore their prestigious right."
"Rewards the oldest child will become your maid."
Rex urged them to come with him. The family felt that he could help them. They decided to follow them.
Guards would not allow the family to enter. Rex threw the guards has hard as he could. He was going to give them their right.
It was not for the maid. He wanted them to be where they belonged
Rex already knew the family and their house location. Rex went forth and entered their home. Several people tried to kill him but instead had their heads twisted 180° degrees. He killed them like this to help not stain the house with blood.
He remembered who the true person who obtained the house was. He went forth and grabbed the neck of a small man.
"Either give everything back to the family or face the man who stopped the wars." Rex said.
The man thought he missed understood. He asked for a repeat. Rex tightened his grip and replied clearly.
The man's eyes widened greatly. He nodded he would.
"Good. Now take your filth out of here and destroy the clothing you have worn." Rex said.
Although the man had not worn anything. That did not mean his subordinates had. He took what they had worn and repayed the family greatly for not only their loss but for using the house.
"Thank you sir. We can now rebuild." The mother said.
"Not a problem." Rex answered.
Rex got a notification of completion of the Quest.
The eldest daughter bowed her head.
"I wish to become a maid for you. You have helped my younger siblings not only have a home but you have helped us restore our prestigious family."
"Only if the women in my current life accept you." Rex said.
It was close to mid-afternoon. Rex decided to visit the leader of the city. He had a few issues to deal with him.
Although the Quest to help the family was done. There was a hidden Quest in the game to bring down the biggest threat to the Fourth Realm. The person in question was a bandit leader who operated thousands of bandits and rogue cultivators.
Although the rogue cultivators had a choice to listen or not. The bandits had to listen to him. The moment that Rex stepped into his house.
Several blades got deflected and heads were flying. Rex did not care to dirty this house up. He went up to find paperwork being done.
"WHO ARE YOU?" The man asked.
"The man who stopped the wars. Also the man who is killing you." Rex said.
The next moment a lifeless body of the leader of the city could be found.
Rex got a notification.
"Congratulations for doing a hidden Quest."
"Rewards: humans will be willing to live with Beastmen in your City of Eden."
Rex smiled and left the city.
What he did not know was that the girl who wanted to become his maid had gotten a carriage. The carriage was heading to the city and going at it in full speed.
Even during the night, the journey was rough.
When the sun rose and the carriage could see glimpses of the city. A new dawn was coming for the girl.
