Chapter 308 - Chapter 307 Explanations are hard

Dinner came up. The Adventurer's Guild was filled with most Foxmen that were Four Tailed. There were a few Five and Six but not enough for Rex to be happy for the first announcement.

The Nine Tailed Fox gave Rex a back pat and went in front of everyone.

"Everyone I have a bit of sad news to spread." She unexcitingly said.

This got everyone to turn their attention to the Nine Tailed Fox.

"Alright. First off, there is a calamity that will happen. We will be the first ones to be ready to fight against the calamity. Second, no one knows when the calamity will hit. Lastly, in order to give everything our all. I will be temporarily leaving the Third Realm."

The entire Foxmen Tribe inside the Adventurer's Guild gasped together. They were both shocked and afraid of not having their mother here.

Most of them felt the worst for the One Tailed Foxes who have gotten extremely close to their mother.

"Alas, Rex will still be close by inside the Third Realm. He is building this city, Eden. So please make sure to help him with everything he needs. I will let the One Tailed Foxes know closer to my time to go."

The Foxmen Tribe felt that this was probably for the best. Getting the older ones the information first. They can also comfort the One Tailed Foxes.

The news that their mother was leaving was spread quickly that night throughout the Foxmen Tribe. They left out the Two and One Tailed Foxes.

That night the Nine Tailed Fox felt guilty leaving the tribe when they had just left the forest for Rex. She was alone until Rex entered the room.

He went in and laid down beside her. The Nine Tailed Fox rolled over and cried on Rex's shoulder.

Rex just allowed the Nine Tailed Fox to do what she wanted. Iris and Liz wanted Rex to spend the night with them. He convinced them that the Nine Tailed Fox needed him more now.

The duo were more than happy to let Rex go. Which he was surprised at the very least. He did not care to get any feedback from them.

Inside the Foxmen Tribe in the Four Tailed Fox's home

"We all have to prepare for this calamity. Those who cannot do well in battle will be sent to a medic line. Those who just want to support in bringing supplies are welcome to." Tetsuo explained.

The entire Four Tailed Foxmen all separated into two groups. The first group was a fighting group. These foxes had great control over their Qi and could fight decently.

"This group is number 1. I will take you all with me inside the Labyrinth of Unholy tomorrow with Gyuki. We will break down the group into two and get a scoring paper for each of you." Tetsuo said to the fighting group.

He turned his attention to the second group.

"As for you all, Ladies Margaret, Amber, Bella, and Violet. All have different ways for you all to be beneficial. Everything from medical to bringing supplies. Make sure that each of and everyone of you visit them tomorrow." Tetsuo commanded.

"We bow and obey." The Four Tailed Foxes all replied.

Tetsuo walked outside and Gyuki was standing there.

"How many will last?" Gyuki asked.

"We shall see tomorrow." Tetsuo replied.

"That is not how I was raised nor the raising of many of the older foxes." Gyuki replied.

"You are correct. What we are preparing is not war but something else. We all have to be at tip top shape of whatever we decide to do. Nearly all, if not all of the Seven and Eight Tailed Foxes will become group leaders. What we need are not casualties but everyone doing their best. If it means less fighters and more medics. That is what the Foxmen Race will have to do. If there are more fighters than medics. Than another Race will have to help heal the wounded." Tetsuo explained.

Gyuki knew that Tetsuo was right. He had grown up always knowing they the Foxmen Tribe had to learn to do everything for war. Here a young Fox was explaining the difference to him.

"You will become a shining star." Gyuki thought.

The duo went to the Five and Six Tailed homes and began their explanation. Even though most of them had heard from a few members. They did not believe what they heard from Gyuki and Tetsuo.

"If anyone needs reassurance the Nine Tailed Fox will be making an announcement in the morning. She is waiting to the One Tailed and Two Tailed Foxes last." Gyuki replied.

"Why? How come splitting the news is now something?" A Foxmen asked.

"Becausd the One Tailed Foxes have gotten extremely close to their mother." Tetsuo let his anger tone out.

"Oh, such a mad Fox." Another Foxmen laughed.

Tetsuo began to glow orangish and black. A single punch was enough to nearly kill a Six Tailed Fox.

"Anyone else dare to talk back?" Tetsuo growled angrily.

Everyone stopped and looked at their comrade and how easily Tetsuo hurt him.

"Good. We will be heading into the Labyrinth of Unholy in two days. Prepare for hell for angering me and Gyuki." Tetsuo replied and exited.

Gyuki was surprised to see how much growth the Evolution had given Tetsuo. He was also afraid that too much evolution can hurt a person.

"Tetsuo, I want to pose a theory to you." Gyuki spoke.

"What is it?"

"I want us to fully evolve a Four Tailed Fox each and only give a single evolution stone to another. We will leave one with each of the Ladies. We will find out if there are any symptoms we need to be aware of." Gyuki said.

He felt bad intentions coming from Tetsuo.

"Sure that should be fine." Tetsuo replied.

The duo walked into the Adventurer's Guild and grabbed the papers from Violet who was currently writing every name down in the Foxmen Tribe.
