Rex and Tetsuo both put a hand on their side of the monument. Using their other hand, they gripped each other's hand.
"I will win because I have to make my Tribe proud."
"I will win because I have to climb the Realms with pride."
With these thoughts in their minds, a clash of Qi began to crack the monument. The eyes in the monument began to show a little glow.
That same glow appeared on the eyes on the men. The glow only affected the side that was touching the monument.
A massive figure appeared behind Tetsuo. This figure looked both majestic and angry. A rainbow of colors on the fur. Showing how many different Qi types it could control at will.
In the next second, a figure appeared behind Rex. This figure had the words, "I shall not be moved," on his cloaked.
The fox roared, causing massive damage to the ground. The strange thing was that the buildings were still there. It was utterly shocking to the audience.
No one had ever believed they would see a forbidden test take place. The better thing was that no one focused on just one fighter. The people watching were watching and slowly began cheering, inwardly, for both parties.
The monument seemingly began to hold the fighter's hands. The sky changed colors extremely fast. This was the Qi attacks from both the fox and figure.
Not a single attack was focused on Rex or Tetsuo. The fight seemed to become otherworldly as the Third Realm in the audience eyes began to disappear rapidly.
Instead of being afraid, they felt more at peace. No one should have felt that, even normally.
The fight was this epic in the audience eyes that no one cared. While the sky became dull, the fight became even fiercer.
Qi attacks from both sides were not working. Physical attacks began to show.
Claw swipes left and right to up and down. The figure behind Rex still stood strong in the relentless attacks. Once the crowd felt that an hour had passed. The figure began to attack.
Punches to every part of the fox's body were dealing damage. Just the figure behind Rex, the fox also took all the damage.
Once the figure behind Rex stopped. Everything went back to normal.
The audience felt excruciating headaches. No one dared to say a thing because this was a lifetime experience, and most people began to cultivate on the fight itself.
A few people found enlightenment during the fight itself and were not affected by the headache.
The few members of the Fox Tribe began to cultivate what the Fox was. Most of them agreed that was a Nine Tailed heavy fox.
The figure behind Rex. No one could even dream of knowing how strong he was. Even the enlightenment that the cultivators had. The power he was wielding was unmatchable.
Rex and Tetsuo both kept forcing Qi out. They were not focused on the outside of the spectacle. Each of them were worried about losing their pride over this contest of will.
The contest lasted until dusk when the monument shattered. Both Rex and Tetsuo fell to the ground.
Even in unconscious, neither one let go of the other. No one tried to move either fighter because Iris and Liz both caused a barrier to circle the two.
They duo stayed like this until the morning.
Tetsuo's Dream
Rex was holding unto Tetsuo's hand. Tetsuo felt that his will and determination were swinging wildly. The fox figure from before appeared before Tetsuo.
"What power gives you your will?" The fox asked.
"My Tribe, my family, my name." Tetsuo took a breath before continuing, "This fight is not about winning. I need to show that my will and determination will be as strong as a powerful person. I need that to become a Nine Tailed Fox."
"Congratulations, for you have shown the power worthy of accessing your Seventh Tail. Not all foxes are worthy of accessing the Seventh Tail. I will make an exception because this man has the power to completely wipe you out." The fox figure faded.
Rex's Dream
Tetsuo was holding unto Rex's hand. Rex was not even feeling pressured by being in this place. He saw a figure appear before him.
"Was the test for you or for him?" The figure asked.
"Mainly him, but I wanted to have a good fight. This was the best way to fight without killing him." Rex answered.
"You are correct in one thing. You do need a good fight." The figure became black with blood red clothes on.
"I took too much damage because you are not only too powerful but too willful. I have to test you personally to see if you are able to continue doing these." The man said.
Several beings appeared along him. Rex just casually began to release all of his Qi.
The beings found it funny until the Demonic and Heavenly Qi both showed themselves. A being this powerful was here, and not a single Soul had told them. Why would any of them want to risk their death before living a good life?
Only the Nine Tailed Fox stayed behind. He was trying to size Rex up. Once he did, the Fox decided to bow to Rex.
"The fox known as Tetsuo has the techniques to become a Nine Tailed Fox. Any more than that, the realms will have to be nice. I ask that you kindly treat him with a good heart and train him properly to become your Nine Tailed Fox."
Rex was stunned at the conversation. He did not know why he would be able to get a Nine Tailed Fox.
"I have no experience in training Tailed Foxes. Are there any clues for me to use?" Rex asked.
A glow appeared on the Fox's eyes, and a notification came through to Rex.
"Nine Tailed Fox Training"
Rex clicked on it. The first step was to complete the test of wills and help Tetsuo to a place where Nature Qi flows naturally.
Both men woke up feeling exhausted from the test of wills. Their bodies slowly ached and would not function without each other.
"Where is Nature Qi abundant in the Third Realm?" Rex asked.
