Inside a dimly lit cave
The Leader of the Builder Faction was sitting in the head of the Apex Calamity creature. If one looked at it now, it resembled an eastern dragon.
"Time to see if the flying works." The Leader announced.
Eye lids opened, and massive wings spread out. Nothing else happened.
"Can I just get a fucking good response for once?" The Leader shouted.
Immediately, the Leader closed his eyes, trying to imagine how a normal dragon flew through the air.
Slowly but surely, the wings flapped down. There was still no movement in the dragon. The wings were not beating down fast enough or powerful enough.
The Leader finally had enough and went to go get several Dantians that he could just fuse into the creature.
If the Apex Calamity was not going to work with him. He was just going to force a way to work. He was not normally like this.
Due to the Apex Predator not wanting to kill the Apex Spider. The Leader now had to speed things up drastically.
"Such crap that I should not have to deal with." The Leader cursed.
As if nothing else mattered, several Dantians were brought up by the Leader. Just like the Apex Predator, the Apex Calamity also had several stomachs.
This was to increase the amount of Dantians of a singular type instead of having a full load of them. The Apex Calamity had ten different stomachs and only two different types of Qi that it could use. That was Fire Qi and Wind Qi.
The Fire Qi is its main weapon of choice. While the Wind Qi would be used for its flying and dodging.
The biggest difference now was that all the Wind Qi Dantians were all connected and only connected to each other. The Leader made sure that the output of each Qi was extremely powerful. This was the only way to do so.
"I have finally gotten enough kills and built enough stratch Dantians to complete the largest threat to the Calamity Battle." With laughter filling the cavern, the Leader spoke again, "No one will dare to find me weak anymore!"
With this, the Leader went up to the edge of the exit. He overlooked the plains. He found solace in the fact that the Apex Calamity was nearly done now. He hoped that just floating in the air was enough to stop most people from attacking for now.
"I will deal with the Demon King of Annihilation personally." The Leader spoke.
He went to fetch a talisman. He began to write out eleven more. Each talisman took only three seconds because of how proficient the Leader was in writing talismans.
"The Twelve Way Sealing," the Leader said.
A glow appeared on the twelve talismans. It then vanished. More inscriptions appeared on each of the talismans.
"Time to go." The Leader said.
The Apex Calamity floated out of the cavern. The Leader got to ride on its head towards the location of the Calamity Battle.
Meanwhile
"WITH THE END OF THE FIRST BATTLE. WE, THE ANGELIC WARRIORS, ARE HOSTING A FREE MEAL TO ALL TOWARDS THE RESTING AREA." The former Beastman Champion spoke loudly.
This made nearly everyone happy.
The people started to make their way towards the Resting Area. A blanket got laid out across the back of the thrones.
A portal opened and several maids brought out dishes for Lilith and Rex first. Once the two had gotten their plate full of finger food. Iris and Liz were the next two. Followed by the maids and butler accompanying them.
The Angelic Warriors that decided to follow Rex went to go get him a plate of their food and see if they could eat with him.
Nearly ten minutes passed and the Angelic Warriors brought two plates apiece. Each plate was filled with all kinds of food.
Seeing the sincere affection from the Warrior Faction. Rex took his plate and began to get food from them as well.
Maximum, Demon, and Life-giver all looked at Rex with strange eyes. They could not believe that Rex was the same man who they wanted their daughters to be with since he was born.
"The timing could get better." Life-giver thought.
He went over and sat down next to his daughter. Everyone looked at him, and the maids that brought food earlier went and got more for Life-giver showing up.
Once Maximum and Demon both saw this. They went and sat down next to their daughters. The maids were upset because it took someone to join them for these two to join.
"Bring some wine, please." Rex said.
"By the order of the Master." The maids bowed.
They went in and got more food and wine for the group.
Once everyone had a glass of wine and a full plate of food. Rex stood up and raised his glass.
"To my family and extended family. I hope that each of you enjoys yourselves in the feast from the Demon Realm and from the Warrior Faction. To the Warrior Faction, I hope that we can become good friends. To all maids and butlers, thank you for doing such a great job as always." Rex said.
"Cheers," the group announced.
Everyone ate and had a chat with someone, except for Rex, who had Lilith in his lap. She would take a bite of anything and give the rest to Rex.
He happily accepted the food from Lilith. Eventually, Iris and Liz had enough. They went closer to Rex. They began to do the same thing.
Maximum and Demon were both pleased with how their daughters acted with Rex. Life-giver saw his daughter have no interest in Rex. This saddened his heart but knew that she would eventually open up to him and give him everything.
"The joy she will bring to Rex." Life-giver thought.
Time went by slowly for them. Most people went around the entire fighting area, just not upset the Demon King of Annihilation.
Above the fighting area was a single man. He glared angrily at Rex. He needed to his Apex Calamity close by to unlease chaos in the area. Due to the slow motion of the Apex Calamity, it would not be for a good little while.
"The final touches are present. I just need you to make your appearance and show how mighty I am." The Leader said.
