Iris and the others arrived in the Warrior Faction's domain. Upon arrival, guards were pointing their spears at them.
"YOU SHALL NOT PASS INTRUDERS!" A guard yelled.
"We are here for the Calamity Battle." Bella spoke.
The guards looked at each. They were unsure why such a group of women and one man would venture here for the Calamity Battle.
"Who is participating in the Calamity Battle for you to arrive this late?" Another guard asked.
"We had to some supplies in case we did not make it here by midnight." Iris spoke.
The butler was carrying the backpack with all of their belongings.
"Fine. Follow us to the resting area." A fine dressed guard replied from the back.
Immediately, all the other guards saluted in unison. They made sure to allow the person and the group to see their salute.
"You lot." The sharp dressed man replied before sighing.
"Come on now." The man said to the group of women.
They all marched forward. The man did not say a word. A nagging feeling was felt by Iris. She did not know who this was, but something was off about him.
"Better talk to Rex about him." Iris thought.
Before the group had completely arrived in the resting area. Rex had already come out to see if they had gotten close to him.
Upon seeing Rex's figure in the darkness. Iris and Liz both knew without a word being said that Rex was coming for them.
"My Love!" Iris playfully ran to Rex.
Iris jumped into his left arm and kissed Rex's left cheek.
"Do not forget about me." Liz did the same the as Iris but on the right side.
Rex kissed both back.
The sharp dressed man wanted to ask Rex a few questions. He felt bloodlust coming from Amber, Margaret, and Bella before he could muster a word.
"Such powerful people are here." The man frowned.
The butler did not like the man. He was more worried about what his Master was going to do during the Calamity Battle first.
The sharp, dressed man started to walk away before he was stopped by the butler.
"Do not provoke a dragon unless you want to feel his wrath." The butler replied.
The sharp, dressed man continued afterward. He did not know who the man was talking about. One thing was certain, though: "The Calamity Battle will be a showdown of massive powers." The man smiled in thought.
Meanwhile
Entering the resting area. Rex was seen carrying two women in his arms. This made every man extremely jealous.
"Jealous men are nothing but scum." Iris spoke.
Every man heard what Iris said clearly. This made them angry.
"Angry now. Man, what a bunch of losers." Liz said.
To have their pride hit by the two women. The men wanted to step up and fight the man carrying the women.
A demonic aura was unleased by Bella. The men instantly tried to back away. They were unable to do so, as Amber and Margaret both started to knock out the men.
The wives and children of the men tried to help, but they, too, were knocked out.
"Such evil people living here." Bella sneered.
Amber and Margaret both nodded their heads in unison.
Rex had already started his way to his room. The maids had not realized it until they were done.
"Which way to his room?" Bella asked with an unpleasant smile.
"Here are the keys to the next room beside it. It is down that hallway on the right. The numbers coordinate with the door number." The man behind the counter replied.
"At least some men have decency." Amber said.
Bella grabbed the keys and headed down the hallway first. Amber and Margaret side by side walked right behind Bella.
The butler arrived in the resting area. He saw Amber and Margaret walking down the hallway. He hurriedly walked to catch up with them.
As the maids and butler walked. They heard all kinds of women moaning. This made the walk to their room bad.
Before long, a figure could be seen carrying two people. Bella started to hurry close to where the figure was.
Amber and Margaret hurried, and they noticed the butler. With some simple gestures, it was decided that Amber would stay outside waiting for him.
Before Rex closed the door.
"Master Rex." Bella spoke in a slightly higher voice.
Rex did not close the door. He did sit Iris and Liz on the bed.
Once he did and turned around. Bella was standing in the doorway with an upset face. She knew that Rex needed to know what was about to happen.
"What is wrong, Bella?" Rex asked.
"Master Rex, I have to inform you that I have contacted Lilith. It is with a great heart that I can tell you that a device will be handed to Iris and Liz. When I get the call that they are ready for the meeting. I will take Iris and Liz with me to the meeting place. The device will allow them two to talk personally with Lilith." Bella replied.
"Okay. Did you mention anything about this Calamity Battle?" Rex asked.
"I did. Lilith had already heard from the butler." Bella replied.
"Why were you not informed?" Rex asked.
"I am not truly certain sure." Bella responded.
"Butler, come forth." Rex commanded.
The butler sat the backpack down and walked into the room.
"Yes Master." The butler replied.
"I want you to tell my Head Maid every time that you call my wife. As for now, so me how yours works so I can call her." Rex gave the order.
"As you will." The butler replied.
He put his hand into his pocket. The device was handheld, and it would use any thoughts and Qi to call any person who had a device similar. The butler's device was white with the writing 'For my Master, the New Demon King'.
Rex found it funny that his was solely for him. He did not want to be harsh on anyone who would be his. That did not mean that punishment was unavoidable.
"Until the sunrise, I want you to run around ethis place and check all security. This is your punishment for not telling the Head Maid that you called without Lilith without permission." Rex said.
The butler bowed because this punishment was what he was going to do anyway. Since his Master had given the command has a punishment. He was going to delve even deeper into it.
"So much fun." The butler said, smiling.
He placed the backpack into the maid bedroom and went out to check on the security.
"Anything else, Bella?" Rex asked.
"Nothing." Bella replied.
Bella, Margaret, and Amber in that order entered their bedroom for the night.
