Apex Swimmer's Pov
"I wonder what actually made me hug the Mortal Man. I know that he will become strong, but that enough is not what warrants me to hug him." The Apex Swimmer sang throughout the water.
Bubbles kept popping like around the Apex Swimmer. She felt that the water itself needed Rex to become even stronger.
"It was already a miracle that he survived the first round of that treatment. I could not expect him to survive the next round." The Apex Swimmer sang.
Different colored bubbles all began to pop out of nowhere. A figure's face could be seen within the popping of the bubbles.
"Who might you be?" The Apex Swimmer no longer sang.
"Someone who wants Rex to become strong." The bubbles wrote out before popping.
The Apex Swimmer swam around, trying to figure out who the person was.
Meanwhile
Rex finally felt the increase in the Water Qi from his Godly Route Dantian. He went to check on it.

"All Water affinity damage increases 5% for each party member that has Water affinity"
"All Water affinity learning increases 5% for each member in your party that has Water affinity"
"All Water affinity resistances increase 2% for each member with Water affinity"
Rex remembered that this was the Stats originally when he got the Godly Route Dantian.

Rex could not believe his eyes when he saw the increase in the Water Route Dantian.
"I wonder when I can increase my Water Route Dantian again?" Rex pondered.
The system recognized Rex's question. In that moment, the little devil whom Rex had gotten for his Demon King side. He appeared momentary.
"Hey, Rex. You are about to receive a new buddy. Guess what? She is fucking sexy as hell." The little devil spoke.
Rex twitched his left eye in annoyance. There was nothing he could do right now.
"Hello, I am a friend of his. I hope you do not mind." A little golden fairy appeared.
Rex opened his eyes in shock. In front of him looked like Soni when she first got revived.
"Please do not stare too long Master. I am here because he asked me to help you." The little fairy bowed multiple times.
Rex just smiled. The Apex Elemental could not figure out what Rex was smiling about. He knew something was up.
"What is your name?" Rex asked telepathically.
"People have called me 'Angel' before. Whatever name you give, I will accept." The golden fairy replied.
"I like Angel. So Angel, tell me, how do I increase my Godly Water Route Dantian again?" Rex spoke.
"You can enter that Water Layer again and get two levels of increase. Considering you were asleep when the first wave happened. You were automatically given two levels upon cultivation." Angel responded.
"That would get me up to Level 5 correct?" Rex asked.
"Correct. Once you reach that level, that is all you can reach in the Mortal Realm on your Water Route in the Godly Dantian." Angel responded.
"Thank you." Rex replied.
"Remember, you also have to increase the other Routes to the same Level before you can ascend to the Heavenly Realm. Since you have increased your Water Route, before entering the Demon Realm again. At least two others have to be at Level 2." Angel responded.
Rex felt a world of headaches coming. He had already increased his Water Qi Route. He had no idea how to increase the other Routes.
"So where in the Mortal Realms do I increase my other levels at?" Rex asked.
"In the Eighth Realm, in the Temple for your Soul Art. You will be given a few extra times in case your Soul is still damaged at that point in time."
Rex figured that one for the Soul Art.
"As for the Fire Route, you must increase it in a blaze of fire. Only then will you receive strengthening."
Rex did not have any clue about this one.
"For your Yin-Yang Holy and Dark Qi. There are two mountains in the Ninth Mortal Realm that no Mortal, Demon, and even Heavenly Cultivator dares to trespass on. In the middle of the two mountains is a statue. On the statue's hands are two Dantians. Use those to cultivate with to increase your Yin-Yang Routes."
Rex felt a nightmare was going to happen there.
"For your Nature Route. Cultivate in the Sixth Realm in the Forest that Life-giver has made. It will slowly increase your Godly Nature Route at a slow pace, but it is the only option in the Mortal Realms."
Rex figured that much for his Nature Route.
Rex was not getting any answer for his Animal Taming Route. He asked about that one.
"No information is currently available. You will have to wait until the Fourth Realm ascension to learn about that one. I am sorry Master." Angel said
Rex smiled and decided that what he currently had was enough. He was not afraid of any of the other Apex creatures for right now.
"My friend Apex Elemental. It is time for us to make our way to kill the Apex Predator. What do you think of your chances to fight evenly with him?"
The Apex Elemental took Rex out of the Apex Layer. The two touched the ground before moving on.
"My chances are zero. I might get a few lucky strikes in at best. Even using lava as a melting source would be too long for the Apex Predator." The Apex Elemental replied.
Rex thought that he might have some other tricks up his sleeve. Seeing that none were there, Rex decided to challenge both the current Alpha Apex and the Apex Predator together.
"My luck is good, and my fists are strong." Rex thought walking towards the Calamity Battle.
