We arrived back on Earth. I must say, the past few days have been extremely exciting. From visiting the Fifth Heavenly Realm to fighting everyone I did. Nothing short of exhilarating, from my perspective.
Lilith, on the other hand. She was a complete wreck. She had to explain everything to the Spider Queen. Even she felt that too much happened in just a short visit.
Now, we were not talking about that. We were discussing what we needed to do.
"First things first, I need to know about the Mistress of the Shadows. I remember that you also were named that." I said.
Lilith looked down. She did not want to talk about it. Before we continued, I needed to know if I were going to be targeted by them.
With a sigh, she began, "The Shadow Clan is a mysterious clan in the Heavenly Realm. Most people only hear about them. Very few people learn about their true nature. Even fewer people know where the clan holds meetings." Lilith turned towards the ocean.
"When I first entered the Heavenly Realm. I was with a group of demons. I did not care for them. We had to help each other in a new land, and it was also the order of the Demon God. Within the first day, I lost everyone else. The bodies were never found, but their lives were on my hands. So I kept going, never looking back. Suddenly, one morning, I found myself in a strange room."
Lilith held herself. I held her myself, too.
"When I took a good look around. The bodies of the other demons were there. I released all of my Demonic Qi in order to prepare for a fight. A woman approached me. That woman was the same as you fought against." Lilith held her anger.
"She invited me to join a clan. I had no idea what I was getting myself into. Apparently, she had forced the other demons to talk about me. None of them did. She had to invite me to see if I was worthy to join her clan." Lilith's eyes glowed purple.
"Becoming a member gives you these purple eyes. Once you become a member, you can never betray the clan. You either die or become a God. That is what Goddess Mera did. She wanted to leave the clan. She could only become a God or die. She wanted to live." Lilith growled.
"The clan has three ways to live by. Becoming a different humanoid to use assassination, creatures to either attack or spy, or simply live a life trying to produce children for the clan." Lilith began to heat up on the inside.
"I chose to do nothing. I was given a Shadow because I worked for the Demon God. They could not force me into doing their work. I was forced to keep most of my secrets to myself or talk to the Demon God about them. They will let a God not know about their work. I do not understand the reasoning, but that is something I will force myself to learn."
I was shocked to learn such secrets. I did not have a lot of time to spend now. I have to focus on becoming stronger faster. I will fight the Mistress again. This time, I do not know if she will live or die.
"The clan has several bases in the Heavenly Realm. Most people cannot feel them because they are connected to Shadows. That is the dangerous part about the clan. If you accidentally step into the den full of lions. You have forfeitted your life. If you get dragged into the den. You may live, but you will not have any reason to live." Lilith felt her emotions going wild.
I could tell that due to our partial Soul Mate.
"The biggest thing that you need to remember is that. Being a Mistress means you have special privileges. Since the clan mostly has females doing the dirty work. I will not say if the men are mainly at the main clan house. That is something that not even I have visited before. At least not that I know of." Lilith finished.
I wanted to know what her special privileges were. I knew that I could not force them.
"My special privileges mainly go with the Demon God. There are a couple more that I will wait to tell you. I do not think we want a Shadow interfering much more." Lilith saw the shadows dance.
"Lilith, Fifth Seat Holder. You have been granted access to speak about the clan. You have given too much information. What will we do about that?" Four Shadows sat down on chairs.
I got myself ready for battle.
"Oh, a little boy, aren't you?" One of the Shadows laughed.
I stomped on the ground. I caused the ground to collapse. The Shadows did not move from their spots.
"Who says that I am a little boy?" I asked.
I began to focus on my Qi affinities. A massive wheel appeared in front of me. Fire, Water, and Nature seemed to dance around me. Holy and Dark Qi protected my back. My Soul seemed to get stronger, and the Locust King and Queens appeared behind me. Their strength was multiple times stronger than before. The Spider Queen became much more intimidating.
"Let him fight if he desires." A shadow moved its hand.
Shadows tried to come within my area, but they were burned away.
"Interesting." The shadow who tried to attack said.
I began to move my way towards the shadow. Although the road was damaged. I found my Nature Qi making a way for me.
I began to get close to the Shadow. I began to burn the shadows away from her.
"Wait!" I burned the woman alive.
I glared at the others.
"You have tried to fight and lost. Now LEAVE!" I exploded in a fury.
The next second, I saw the woman whom I had burned alive walking towards the group.
"Healing, please." She asked.
A liquid was poured on her. She was rejuvenated. I was angier than before. I felt the entire Core of the Earth responding to my will.
A lava pillar appeared behind us from the ocean. The pillar bent towards the Shadows.
"WONDERFUL!" One of them shouted.
"This battle has been fun. I will report the talk and battle to the Mistress of the Shadows." The group left.
My anger was not quelled with them leaving like that.
"So they are like that huh?" I thought angrily.
