I let my entire being crumble. I had finally returned to Earth. I did not think much about not awakening in my house. Actually, I thought nothing of it.
As I walked around the desert, I never once attempted to investigate anything. In Egypt, I never once thought of seeing the Locust Kings.
I subconsciously wanted to see what fish I had caught. My despair started because I knew I was still logged into the game.
That did not make much sense. The dream of having two opposite titles made me weary of my future.
Either way, I do not care what happens.
"REX!"
I did not care to listen. I knew deep down that nothing I did would matter anyway.
"REX!"
I began to become angry. I did not want to listen.
"REX!"
I forced myself deep into my subconscious. Why? If Earth became part of this game, what point is there saving any of it.
"REX!"
Even deep within my subconscious, I kept hearing my name being called. My anger kept rising.
"Congratulations. Your anger has become the part of your desire."
"Anything you desire now will increase your desire by 0.5%."
I heard in my subconscious, but I was not paying attention.
I felt Demonic Qi rushing into me it felt familiar. I tried to sense whose it was. I could not tell.
I let my Demonic Qi slowly reach the point of the person's Demonic Qi entering my body.
The Demonic Qi felt like Lilith's. I knew that she was not here. Why? I stopped myself there. If the Demonic Qi I felt was Lilith's. Then the Spider Queen communicated with the Locust King or Queens.
Should I let myself see? Should I try to investigate and feel horrible? What should I do?
It during this time I felt pain. It was pain that I had felt before. The pain became a stinging pain.
Still in my subconscious, I still rubbed my check. That seemed to start my arouse out of my subconscious.
I started to blink. I found myself in one of the rooms on the ship. I turned my face upwards and saw eight glaring red eyes.
I got forced awake at that moment.
I slid out of the makeshift bed. My head hit the nightstand beside the bed. My head began to throb from my headache coming on.
I rubbed my temple and looked to see Lilith mad. The way she had dressed made her look like a Goddess had come to me.
"Lilith?" I questioned my own self.
"You did a good job scaring the hell out of us. What happened to you?" Lilith was clearly angry at me.
"I just found something terrible out. I could not bring myself to realize that it is bad." I replied.
The news made both Lilith and the Spider Queen feel weird. They had already met an extremely large aquatic being. It nearly brought the ship to its end. This made both of them mad.
Rex was not even attempting to reach out when they were calling out. The duo did not know why or how to protect the ship.
"Spill the beans. We need to hear every word." Lilith demanded.
Lilith sat on the bed with her right leg over her left leg. Her arms were crossed, and the look of 'hurry up' was written on her face.
"To start with, remember the woman who had the helmet on." I stated.
The duo nodded.
"Before Earth became a Heavenly Realm. We used those helmets to enter a game. That game had the location of the Nine Mortal Realms." I looked away.
I did not want to see either face right now. I figured shock was running through Lilith's face. Yeah, I know look was running through the Spider Queen's face.
"Since we entered Earth through the Demon Realm. I did not think much about my personal helmet. It was not until my heart wanted to see what kind of fish I caught. When I did, I remembered that I could only do that if I was still logged inside the game."
"My heart and mind was not ready to accept that fact. I rushed out of the bottom floor of the ship. I gazed upon the ocean. When I tried to see what all was there. I saw thousands upon thousands of different names. Most of them, I believe, were the same. The fact that I could research the ocean made my heart tremble."
I began to let my boiled up emotions flow out of my eyes.
"I just let go. I felt no desire to do anything. And," My heart finally gave away.
I could not stop the sorrow that I felt. There were thousands, if not millions of people on Earth needing rescued. I truly only felt pity on my family.
Why did everything have to become part of this game? How did it become part of the game? I no longer care about trying to save everyone.
I truly need my family safe. I do not know how to promise their safety. I have not tried to make a Heavenly Home. I still could not leave someone there to protect them and try to do mass saving at once.
Lilith began to understand why Rex was upset. She knew how much he cared for the people he called Family. Even if he did not always agree with them. He always made sure to accept them for who they are.
The Spider Queen also understood how much Family meant to Rex. She was the first creature that Rex had set his eyes on and formed a Soul Partner. Even being the second creature to form the pact, she always watched his every move.
When the two of them knew that Rex needed his family safe. They had to make a quick decision. This decision would affect the way Rex travels through the Heavenly Realm.
The Spider Queen took a note to quickly teleport there with Lilith. Lilith was not going to leave her husband in such a bad state.
Lilith was a lot older than him. She also decided to make him her husband. Since it came down to it, she decided to let the Heavens decide.
"Rex. Come with me to the deck." Lilith said.
Rex was still upset, and the Spider Queen knew what was about to happen.
Everyone got to the deck
A storm began brewing on the horizon
"Today, Rex, I want you and I to complete our Soul Mate ritual. If we succeed, I will always know everything about your current feelings. You will always know my feelings."
"The ritual to become a Soul Mate is extremely tough and unbearable if a single party is unwilling. In the Heavenly Realm, if a party does not wish for it to happen. The Heavens grant that person's wish."
"So, Rex. Will you please do me the pleasure of becoming my Soul Mate?" Lilith asked.
"That is not the way it works, Lilith." Rex giggled.
He had gotten a ring from Egpyt. The ring itself had no value. Even being one of the most expensive rings on the former Earth. Now, it had no value.
Rex got on one knee. He looked at Lilith.
"Lilith, I am still a weak and fragile young boy. I have done many things in my life, some I am proud of. Others I wish I could change." My eyes still tearing up.
"My Family and close friends mean more to me than what the Heavens themselves know. So Lilith, will you do me the pleasure of becoming my First Soul Mate?" I asked.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOUR FIRST SOUL MATE?" Lilith was confused and angered.
"I will become someone you will break the Heavens and be the first to have multiple Soul Mate. There are currently five waiting on me to propose. I do want you to be my first."
Lilith looked at me and cautiously answered, "If you can make yourself have multiple Soul Mate. I will have to force myself to find my position. I want you to know that my answer is yes."
A large golden bell appeared in the sky
The ring never got heard between the duo staring deep into each others eyes.
The Spider Queen knew that this bell was a sign that this Soul Mate process was one destined to become reality.
