Rex quickly left the city. He ran at full speed to get close to the ocean. He knew he had a good chance to walk on the water. He decided against it.
Why? He was in no hurry. Although babies and toddlers needed rescued. He knew that some were already out of his reach.
The babies and toddlers could be inside a den of spiders. Or with some savage animals. The thing that Rex knew. He had time to rescue them.
He needed to gather weapons and beasts to help him in the cities, towns, and villages. He knew Lilith, Demon Rex, and Bella could not lift everyone.
Since the group had an idea of where Rex would always be. Allowing him to quickly achieve his Demon King form was the best idea.
He ran fast, and nothing stopped him until he reached the Guinea area of Africa. He stopped to pick trees that would be suitable for building a large boat.
Rex carried two, tied two to his waist thanks to the Spider Queen's thread, and she carried on above her and tied thread to another.
Since they had six trees. The duo pushed themselves to the Atlantic Ocean. Rex dropped the trees, and the duo made a makeshift house. It had only taken Rex a total of two hours to get there.
Rex decided to go gather some more tops and a few more trees. In total, Rex gathered a whopping twenty trees and cut the tops of those. Along with cutting another twenty to fix the top of the makeshift house.
Rex was not going to let anyone or anything take his precious wood. That was the reason why he built the makeshift house.
The Spider Queen wondered why he did not make it into a base. Rex told her that it was temporary and only until the boat was complete.
The duo spent the night inside the makeshift home. Howling was heard all around.
Not much dared to get close to the makeshift house. It was partly due to the Spider Queen releasing her power. That was enough to deter most creatures.
The few brave ones who got closer felt Rex's immense power and dreaded it. It overwhelmed them so much that a couple of them died on the spot.
Once the beasts started to die. Nothing dared to get close anymore.
The next morning
Rex woke up and went outside to find breakfast waiting for them. Rex went and picked up a crocodile that had followed their scent.
Rex ripped apart the crocodile like it was nothing. He made a small fire with little bits left over from the house construction.
Rex wrapped the crocodile around the fire to cook it. He went and started making a boat.
He first broke the bark of the trees. He had a hard time at first. That was due to the trees being harder in the Heavenly Realm.
Once he learned how to break the bark off easily. He had the trees stripped off at 9:21 in the morning.
Rex decided to try his Nature Qi. He had not used it and wanted to see what would happen to one of the trees.
To him, the worst possible thing that could happen was that he had to gather more trees.
Rex tried to focus on the Nature Qi. When he did, the first attempt grew ten trees from the one that was stripped.
He was feeling a bit more helpful now. He did not have to cut down so many trees.
He slowly began to imagine strips of lumber. He made sure to know how long the tree was. That was so that way he did not screw up again.
The second tree split into five pieces of lumber. Rex then used his Water Qi to force out the water inside the tree.
Once that was complete, he used his Demonic Qi on his left hand to gently cut the lumber into size.
The time was now almost eleven in the morning. The Spider Queen and Rex decided to eat.
The two happily ate the crocodile. Once they finished, Rex went back to working on the boat.
The first tree that Rex was able to split. Formed the length of the boat, which was forty feet. He then started to think about the width of the ship. He decided to make it eighty feet wide.
Rex used his Fire Qi to force the wood together without completely turning it to ashes.
Rex then started on the next tree. He got a six pieces out of it this time. He started to make the sides.
He quickly went up six pieces of lumber on the side. He was pleased with the side. He burnt on the side for the name, 'Heavenly Realm's Ship'.
Rex went and started fixing the other side. He got the wood placed out and cut. It was starting to get late.
Although Rex was hungry. He decided to wait to eat like he did yesterday.
The night was harsher than the previous one because there was no movement around Rex.
Rex felt uneasy about this. He still stayed up and waited. Once the morning came, Rex hurried to finish the ship.
Rex built the other side. He had not made a walkway unto the ship yet. He wanted it to be perfect.
Once the side was done, he flipped the over to work on the flooring.
He almost to the bottom of it to place the first level of flooring. Once it was done, Rex made a ladder to climb all the way to the top.
With only six logs left from his first attempt at logging. Rex decided to be more useful since he did have ten more logs that could be harvested.
Rex went and built a pole that slid down to the bottom. Rex was planning on making a middle floor so that storage could be done on both floors.
Rex went and made the second floor. Once this day was coming to a close. He was proud of having so much ready to do.
The next morning
Rex did not have time to wait and see if anything would come closer. He went into the ocean naked. The Spider Queen watched as Rex was spearing fish quickly.
Within twenty minutes of diving, Rex came back with almost fifty fish. Rex cooked ten for now. He ate five, and the Spider Queen ate five.
With the second floor done, Rex built some storage crates. He used his Nature Qi to force the crates to stay where he put them.
On the bottom floor, he had planned to use it all for storage. He knew he was going to build a door for the entrance to their.
He also wanted a door to walk unto the deck with.
He dismissed making the doors for now. He went to the second floor and built eight small rooms.
He knew this ship would be small for now. He hoped that it could become a grand ship in the future.
Rex used the ten trees from the side to make a walkway unto the deck. He used one tree to make handlebars to run a total of a hundred feet.
The next tree got used to make the walk path a total of one hundred and twenty feet. The walkway was short, barely wide enough for himself to walk on it. It was good enough for now.
The third, fourth, and fifth trees got used to make a small canoe. It failed on the first two attempts, but the last one succeeded.
Rex tossed the failed attempts unto the second floor.
