People who could not cultivate before had a hard time making a good life. There were quite a few jobs they could do, but none of them paid enough to have a good life.
Now that those people could cultivate now, the changes in their life changed drastically. Those same people kept their jobs and got extremely good results of their job. If it was the speed in which they got in done. Or the quality of the work they had done. Lumi was already on the verge of being a capital town. Now, it was about to grow due to Rex.
The speed in which it grew was faster than either the Heavenly Guard or Heavenly Soldier could imagine. They knew with Rex giving people the ability to cultivate that the town would grow.
The duo expected it to take several months. The actual time it took was barely a month. Crops grew faster and better, people could go hunting year round, and merchants started visiting more frequently.
Each merchant who visited found this growth outstanding. They would even recommend visiting Lumi to see if people could start cultivation.
Rex stayed in Lumi for a total of two months. He would slowly cultivate, and while he was cultivating, people would sit next to him and gain the ability to cultivate.
Once Rex decided to just finish the Realm Cultivation. The Heavenly Guard urged Rex to stay another week.
She had already heard of several people coming in within the next week to gain the ability to cultivate. She had been asked if Rex would help out. She said yes, but that would be the last of the people he would help.
Rex continued his cultivation, and people came up and got the ability to cultivate. With this being his last group, Lumi had reached the point of becoming the Realm's Captial.
There was no discrimination by gender or race. That was because everyone could cultivate. People even found fighting to be a side Quest in the Second Realm from Earth. The town built a coliseum, and people would test their strength several ways.
First, against each other. The town decided that no deaths were allowed in the coliseum. That did not mean that people could get crippled.
Second, fighting against wild monsters. Although the town tried to protect people who could not fight against certain monsters. Death still happened, either by ignorance or by how smart the monsters became. If a monster killed more than six people, the town would poison it to death.
Third, school tournaments. Children who have the ability to cultivate found that fighting in the coliseum was fun. The battles were timed. This was to prevent Qi devastation and over battling. Several judges would score the match to determine the winner.
Within three months of Rex leaving, the town decided to build a statue for the man who developed their town.
The first statue was Rex riding a Griffon over a lake. This statue was due to Goddess Mira. She found this statue to be good. Although the townspeople liked the statue, it was not meant to be in the center of the town. So, over the course of a month. That statue got moved to the fields.
With the first statue taking a full four months to mold and move. The townsfolk decided to make another one.
This statue had Rex wearing a cloak and holding an axe in each hand, a forest behind him. This statue was thanks to Goddess Mera. This statue was marvelous. Even the greatest of people bowed before it. The townsfolk decided it was not worth having in the center of town.
The townsfolk decided to move it at the entrance of the town. This took nearly three weeks to do. First, it was easier than the first. Second, the distance was not far. Lastly, deciding where it went was a problem.
In the end, the town decided to make a longer path entrance to showcase the statue once people entered the town. This statue also took four months to make and move.
The town decided to make another statue. This statue was with Rex riding a dragon who was breathing fire. This statue took a long time to make, nearly six months. Once the completion of it was done.
People awed in its majestic art. The townsfolk decided that this statue was once again not worthy to be in the center of town. They moved it to the coliseum. This took nearly three months. The biggest reason for it was because it weighed three times as much as the first two combined.
Since it had almost been a year and a half since deciding to make a statue. The townsfolk waited to make another one. The wait was not long. The Heavenly Guard came down because she had to grab something for Rex.
She got asked about a statue for Rex. Even though there were already three statues. The townsfolk did not like them for the center of town.
The Heavenly Guard told them to make one with Holy Qi involved in it. This excited the townsfolk. They quickly went back to make a statue with Holy Qi.
The statue came out with Rex, almost praying at a temple. This made the townsfolk happy, but some monks decided to build a temple and have the statue has the entrance.
Once again, the townsfolk moved the statue to where the temple was outside the city. Since the coliseum was on the western side, out the city. The fields are now on the northern side. The temple took the southern side out of the city. The entrance became the northern side due to where the statue of Rex was.
A cultist group formed and had outside the northern side of the city. Seeing the statues of Rex being made. This group was doing the same. The statue they first made was on a tabletop.
It had Rex on a dark night using Evil Qi.

The Evil Qi is being used to kill people. To some cultists, the statue looked like Rex could not control himself. To others, it looked like Rex was enjoying himself.
The townsfolk did not know what kind of statue to make now. Although they wanted a statue to showcase the entire Mortal Realms. Nothing they nor the cultists had done seemed good.
A cultist decided to make a statue himself using everything that had been used. He started to make it himself. Several townsfolk asked to help, but he refused.
Slowly over the course of another year. The statue was coming along. It was longer than Rex riding the dragon, taller than the trees on behind Rex, wider than the lake that Rex was riding over, the dark spots were darker than the cultist's statue, and the holiness was greater than at the temple.
On a stormy night, the grand reveal came out. The entire town seemed to be filled with anxiety because of the storm. Once the grand reveal came, nothing but pure joy and happiness came.
The statue was Rex higher than a mountain with Holy Qi. Rex was taller than the bottom of a lake. A fire's rage seems to be dull compared to Rex's. A dark spot on the statue was nothing compared to the darkness within Rex. A forest's welcoming entrance was nothing compared to how Rex himself made his entrance.
The townsfolk became pleased. The town decided to make an orphanage. The town left pouches around the statue for the new orphanage.
The orphanage's motto was, "No matter how high you are, someone is higher. No matter how deep one is in something, someone is more deep in that thing. Everyone has a dark spot, and some are darker than others. When you are angry, someone is madder than you. Even the greatest entrance in the coliseum can be outdone."
This orphanage was named "Saint Rex Orphanage".
Although Rex never came back to the Second Realm. He heard stories about it. This made him want to visit it one day in the future.
