Chapter 112 - Chapter 112 Healing the little girl

The next morning

I woke up by myself. I saw a note on the side of the bed. I unfolded the note.

"Rex, do not leave the inn today. We will find you five worthy bitches, sorry women to lick you. Do not worry, we talked about it this morning, and we promise not to tell Sachie or Olivia. That does not mean we will not talk to Darkily about it.

Your favorite water affinity user."

Reading the note, I knew what the girls were going to do. I just hoped the red light district had better services than on Earth. Not that I ever visited one, but it is not hard to judge what the inside would be like.

I went downstairs and found the waitress from last night working. I went to the table we sat at last night.

"Good morning, sir. Is it just you this fine morning?" She asked in a flirty tone.

"Yes. Perhaps you can also join me for breakfast."

She slightly chuckled and went back to the kitchen. When she came back, she had three plates for breakfast.

The little girl also followed the waitress. I took it they were mother and daughter.

"Greetings, how are you feeling this morning, kiddo?" I asked.

"I am happy to eat with you." The little girl immediately responded.

"The pleasure is mine." I responded.

We began to eat. The little girl got help from the waitress. Watching the two, I felt that maybe someday I would also be there.

The little girl had a smile on her face that pierced my Soul. The smile genuinely made the place look to the girl.

Everyone also smiled slightly at the girl. I began to wonder what the girl had to do with this place.

"Are you mother and daughter?" I asked.

The waitress looked at me with sorrowful eyes. I began to sweat because I did not know how bad the answer was going to be.

"She is technically my niece. I have told her this before. I raised her since she was born." The waitress let a few tears flow.

"I am sorry for hitting a sore spot in your life. Please do not continue to answer my question."

The waitress patted my head.

"It is fine. Everyone here already knows, and someone else would finish the story. My sister got married and pregnant. Her husband went with a few other cultivators. Everyone died, and no one knew how they died. The only thing that remained of those cultivators was their heads."

The woman tried to hold back the tears that were falling uncontrollably. I held her close to my chest. I felt the tears that the little girl did not need to see. Even though the girl went to another table.

She felt her heart tightening up. Everyone knew how the story ended. The cheerful inn became a sorrowful place.

The waitress raised her head back up. She looked extremely mad now. I do not want to know why. I knew she was going to tell.

"This place used to have a mayor. Once, my sister's husband died. The mayor's son started to flirt and hit on her heavily."

The place turned grim. Even a mouse entering the inn would die from the bloodlust that a couple of men had.

"My sister got tired of listening to him. Entered my inn, she sold her house for barely anything. She got help carrying her stuff inside, and she helped me make this place what it is today."

The woman looked around. I knew she was completely remembering how her sister walked the inn. I am pretty sure it is how the little girl walks.

"Right after my sister gave birth, the mayor's son came and grabbed the child. My sister was hurting and dragged her body to find her child. She came across some guys who beat on her. She was forced inside the mayor's son's house. She got humiliation beyond what anyone should ever get. When it was all said and done. The no good son damaged both my sister's and niece's meridians."

The tension was tighter than the tightest tight rope over a sea of hellfire flames. The mouse that would enter the inn now is instantly shredded meat.

"When my sister was able to get out with her daughter. The townsfolk went and burned down the mayor's and the mayor's son's houses. Trapping everyone inside to burn to ash, and we all decided not to have a mayor anymore. My sister died that night because she could not take care of her daughter. I cried my heart out when I saw the note she left. I have poured my heart nearly every day since then."

The little girl looked back over with tears rolling down her face. I did not know much Holy Qi it took to restore meridians. I know that the main Oracle would do it if I asked.

"Can I see if I can help you restore your meridians?" I asked the little girl.

The townsfolk all glared at me. I ignored them and focused on the little girl. She frowned and turned her head away.

"We have tried multiple priests around the Second Realm. None of them even attempted to help. It is worth a shot." The waitress answered.

I sat down, and the little girl sat on my lap. I put my hands on her back and slowly let my Qi enter her. Once I did, I heard the famous Ding.

"Special Quest Healing Meridians"

"Due to the failures of the priests you killed. You now have a chance to fulfill the quest they should have done. Due to how long it has been, only a large amount of Heavenly Qi or some Godly Qi can fix these meridians.

"Rewards: Townsfolk gratitude and increase in Godly Qi"

"The town will always remember you as a hero. Every town you now enter in the Second Realm will recognize your great heart."

I forced a little Godly Qi into the girl. It was enough to start the repair. It did not last long, but I felt the repair start.

I forced a little more into her. Her legs started to twitch uncontrollably. The townsfolk did not like the fact that something was happening.

I knew I had to continue. I was not going to let this girl continue to suffer.

I forced a little more Godly Qi into 6 she immediately forced the eye patch off her face.

"I have started the treatment. I am not sure how long it will take, but I will spend the rest of the day if that is what it takes to heal you." I rubbed her head.

Once I finished, patting her head. The twitching stopped, and I felt something happening inside of the little girl.

"Mother Aunt, I feel weird now." The little girl said.

"What is wrong, honey?" The waitress asked.

The little girl moved her legs and blinked her eyes. With her meridians starting to be fixed, the little was overjoyed at the new sensation.

Everyone came up to me and thanked me for healing the treasure of the town. Even if it is not a complete recovery, a recovery is still better than none.

I had not received the completion notification on this Quest. Since this was my first time healing a person's meridians. I just let nature run while I rested. Once an hour, I helped her for three hours before I got the completion.

I told everyone that she should have a complete recovery now. She did not need to overwork herself just yet.

The next few days, very few people came and visited the inn. It was mainly me, the girls, a next-door neighbor, and three other people around town at all times.

Before we knew it, she recovered, and the women were waiting for me at the Red Light District.
