We went back to the Second Realm, and a surprisingly weird quest came to me. I had to take either Iris or Liz on a date. That was not the only part of it, I also had to have the other one watch us enjoy the date.
I saw a message from the Goddesses.
"Hey Rex,
Just wanted to let you know that if you date someone in the Nine Mortal Realms, your chances of making a stronger Soul Mate is nearly guaranteed. Enjoy the Quest.
From your favorites,
The Goddesses."
I was stupefied at such a quest. Why would I want to date in the Nine Realms with girls whom I had already dated on Earth. Even the chances of getting a stronger Soul Mate was nice. However, what does it have to do with my cultivation?
I did not want to hurt Iris anymore, but at the same time, I really wanted Liz to get a better feeling for what I wanted to do.
I looked over to Iris. She is seemingly happy at this moment. I looked over to Liz, and she is also happy. The three of us kept walking.
Night came upon us, and we camped outside. The girls only wanted to sleep in the same tent with me. I refused, and they still slept in the same tent.
Iris snuggled on my right side. She made sure that her arms were tight against my chest and her legs locked on mine.
Liz snuggled on my left. She wrapped her arms around my head, putting my head between her breasts and her legs locked onto my chest below Iris's arms.
The girls slept peacefully while I, on the other hand, barely slept. So, since I was not really sleeping. I found the menu different, then before, and found interesting changes.
First off, there was no longer a log out option. With that being said, I hoped that the results of dying were still a resurrection at the last town. I doubt that, but you never know.
Secondly, the menu about your cultivation levels no longer exists. Knowing what amount of Qi you have, you have to practice and know your limits.
Thirdly, a shop menu to buy potions for health and Qi restoration appeared. You can only buy so many in each realm. On the Second Realm, only three can be bought of each.
Lastly, the tamed creatures one has. It can now be unlimited. The chances of any of them fighting against your other tamed creatures increase. Hopefully, mine won't fight each other.
The night was long, and the next morning came. I decided to fight some creatures to do the dating with.
"Hey girls, I have an idea. Who wants to go on a fighting spree with monsters here with me?"
Iris and Liz looked at each other and laughed. I know my asking for a date was weird, but what else could I do.
"I will." Iris snuggled against my arm.
"Okay, Iris." I looked at her dreamy eyes. "Hey Liz, do you mind watching me try to use Fire affinity?"
Liz looked at me and giggled. She nodded yes, and the three of us left for this date.
The first monsters we came across were some ant-like creatures. Iris blew all but one away so I could try my Fire affinity.
It worked, but the flames were not big at all. I sent a small fireball towards the last ant-like creature. Once my fireball landed, it completely roasted it to ashes.
I was completely stunned at such a small fireball doing that much damage. I looked at Liz, who had her mouth agaped.
I looked at Iris, and she too had her mouth apaped. I wanted to speak but did not know what to say.
"Those flames were not from the Nine Realms Rex." Liz stuttered the sentence several times.
I understood why the ant got turned to ash. My Fire affinity was still from the Godly System I had chosen. Since I have not used everything affinity yet, I took it like a chance to get better.
I focused on my Water and Fire affinities. I used a Water sword in my left hand and a Fire axe in my right hand.
Soon, Iris and I fought against several ants. We tore through the ants like butter. There was no notification that we were getting any experience from them.
We kept fighting, and I received a notification near dusk.
"Congratulations on becoming closer to Iris and Liz."
"The choice to use both Fire and Water affinities with them close by was an excellent choice. With their bonds stronger now, the Soul Mate connection is stronger by one hundred percent."
"Congratulations, Iris has reached the point of Soul Mate. Do you wish to become Soul Mates with her?"
"Congratulations, Liz has reached the point of Soul Mate. Do you wish to become Soul Mates with her?"
I looked at the Quest and it showed that it was not complete. I knew that Sachie, Olivia, and my girls were waiting for me to achieve multiple Soul Mates. I could not press yes or no.
"I accept both." I thought.
"Warning. Soul Mate process can only be used on one. Which do you choose?"
"Both."
"Warning. Choosing both means that you will fight against the Heavens, the Godly Realms, the Heavenly Realms, and the Mortal Realms. WHOM DO YOU CHOOSE?"
"I already said. I want both of them."
My vision blacked out and I felt a presence far greater than the Goddesses.
"You have chosen to fight against me. Do you still wish to have both of those filthy humans as Soul Mates?"
I got angered. I was not going to let years upon years of friendship and love be torn apart.
"First off, they are not filthy humans. Second, they have treated me like a husband for years. Lastly, there are some other women waiting for me to have multiple Soul Mates."
"Very well. I shall tell you the Quests you have to do to have one extra Soul Mate. For each extra Soul Mate, you will have eight different quests come around."
I felt my knees give way, and my chest sink into the depths of this void. Why was this so bad? I had no idea, but I could not understand the words he said. I just felt the presence disappeared.
"Quest 1 for multiple Soul Mates."
"Fight against an army of demons with them at least a thousand strong at the Ninth Realm by yourself."
"Quest 2 for multiple Soul Mates."
"Get five women to lick you that you are not friendly with already."
"Quest 3 for multiple Soul Mates."
"Tame a Female Griffon that is at least one thousand years old."
I woke up the next morning with tears rolling down my face. I wished that the Quests I had were not really what I had to do.
