Chapter 106 - Chapter 106 Returning to the First Realm

Liz did not answer Rex but she kept the question in her head and wrote it down. She wanted it kept to remember the exact wording he used.

Iris already had fallen asleep and the little girl still slept happily next to her brother and sister.

Rex watched Liz exit the room and go downstairs. He then decided to rest until Iris woke up.

Although the little girl woke him early, he still held her and told her to rest until Iris woke up.

Liz went and grabbed her favorite photo. She wanted to take hers before the others got a chance to. Liz knew which one Iris wanted and she set it to the side.

Liz looked at the photo she hoped Rex would choose. It is the family at the beach enjoying a summer vacation together. Liz felt the best during that time. She knew deep down that photo would not be picked.

She looked over and saw the photo that would. It was the family sharing a sad time. Although the happiness was not there. That photo meant more to Rex at that time.

"Happiness and sadness together." Liz said softly.

Iris woke up around noon. She looked over and saw the little girl getting close to her. Iris smiled thinking that a family needs to come soon.

She looked over and saw Rex awake and looking deeply into her eyes. Iris blushed because she began to have indecent thoughts running through her mind.

"Do not worry." Rex kissed her forehead. "Everything is okay and you are well."

Iris felt her heart wanting to beat out of her chest. She never wanted this moment to end.

"Sister Iris, when will you and Brother Rex have children?" The little girl asked.

Iris blushed even harder at the question. She did not want to talk about it with her, much less with the boy she liked in front of her.

Liz reentered the bedroom.

"Well, looky here who decided to wake up." Liz saw the little girl.

The little girl giggled mischievously. Liz saw the blush on Iris's face. Liz wanted to know what happened but kept it a secret for now.

"Since the end of the world is coming. Iris, you were already going to choose this photo anyways so here." Liz handed her the photo. "Rex you also need to choose one. Remember this photo is the only one that can enter the Nine Realms, so choose wisely." Liz said.

The little girl wanted to go with her brother has he chose his photo. Rex picked her up and carried her.

Going through the house, Rex saw photos in a new light. Seeing what could and could not be taken. Memories that needed to be kept close but could not.

Emotions that should make people happy and sad, were becoming depressing and guilty. So many precious photos that made life worth living, could not be seen again.

Finally, Rex arrived at the two photos that Liz saw earlier. He wanted both of them.

"I cannot choose." Rex said.

The little girl looked at both of them. She saw one had great happiness and the other one seemed gloomy but those photos meant a lot to Rex.

"Could I take one for you?" The little girl asked.

Rex looked at her and found the answer.

"Of course. Which one do you want to carry with you?" Rex asked.

She went and pointed to the gloomy photo. Rex handed it to her and he got the other photo.

"Time to head upstairs." Rex happily kissed her forehead.

The little girl wanted to let go of this photo. She did not want a gloomy photo close to her brother. Seeing how happy he was with her carrying it, she could not betray his feelings.

The duo walked back upstairs. Rex explained the situation, and the girls found it funny that the new little sister decided to pick the gloomy photo.

"Hopefully she will accidentally break the frame. Once the frame is broken, the photo will get damaged." The girls happily thought.

Rex knew what they were thinking. He hoped that the girl would not damage a photo that did mean a lot to him.

"How will you enter the Nine Realms now?" Rex asked.

The little girl smiled and answered happily, "The wish-granting demon gave me the ability to freely travel with you. Once I punched you, so I could become your sister."

"Wish-granting demon?" The girls narrowed their eyes.

"Yeah and he claimed to be a good demon. He even let me see the book he carried around." The little girl said.

The girls knew that something major happened for a demon to be helping people. The girls did not know what.

Everyone went to Rex's bedroom and this was the order. Liz on the left, Iris on the right, and the new sister on top of Rex.

"Why?" Rex cried inwardly and almost outwardly.

Everyone entered the Nine Realms. This time was different everyone appeared in the Second Realm outside of Lumi. The group did have their photos. That meant more to Rex than anything.

"We need to hurry." Rex said.

The group arrived at Sachie's house.

Olivia opened the door and saw another girl on Rex's arm. Olivia knew that the girl would never betray Rex just by the look in her eyes.

"Do not be standing outside like strangers." Olivia said.

The group entered. They immediately went upstairs and put the photos in their rooms. Rex happily put his two favorite photos side by side.

"Joy and Happiness on one side. Sadness and Loneliness on the other side. A world is never complete without each other in harmony." Rex told the little girl.

She looked at the photos with the inspiration to change. She wanted her life to be completely happy but seeing what had already transpired. She knew that Rex was right.

She bowed lightly to show respect for Rex's new teaching. She kept it in her heart for the rest of her life.

The group went back downstairs and explained the situation to Sachie and Olivia. The sisters agreed to help start the school. Darkily entered shortly afterward and Rex forced him to start the protection program for the new cities being built.

Without any hesitation, the group entered the First Realm again.
