Watching Iris with her Water swords. Rex tried to do the same. He instead used the oceans and seas currently above him.
With three swords at his command, Rex knew that his swords were currently on par with Iris's. The biggest advantage he had was that his three were made up of nearly all the water in the world.
His Qi with the swords he did not know if it was on par with Iris's, but he was going to gamble on it.
The first clash happened, and it shook the Earth to its core. Volcanoes erupted, and the ground split open.
News channels all over the world were trying to figure out what happened. People who lived near volcanoes did their best to leave, but thousands of people still died.
The second clash was going to happen, but the little girl got in front of the two. Liz, seeing the little girl's determination, got in front of her.
"Enough, are you two trying to destroy the Earth?" Liz asked.
"I am trying to stop her." Rex answered unconsciously.
"I do not care either way." Iris answered.
Rex stared at Iris, who looked like she was getting angrier by the moment. The little girl got in front of Liz.
"Please do not fight Brother Rex. I know you always loved Brother Rex, Sister Iris."
Iris looked at the little girl. Hearing the words Sister Iris, Iris got a tingly feeling.
"What did you call me again?" Iris asked.
"Sister Iris."
Iris decided to stop her attack. Since the little girl knew who she was. Liz found the interaction funny.
"Sister Liz." The little girl bowed, "Thank you for helping me."
Liz was shaking with excitement. Hearing that, Sister Liz, Liz was never going to let the little girl off.
"Now that this is off, for now, what is next on the agenda?" Rex asked.
"We have to get as many people inside the Nine Realms. Although they will mostly be in the First Realm, it is better than nothing." Liz answered.
Iris looked at Liz funny. Iris knew that the attack did do a little damage to the Earth. She did not know how much it truly did.
"The clash you two did crack the Core of the Earth. Earth is currently dying, and we may have a month at max." Liz said.
Iris went and entered the Nine Realms. She was going to let the fathers deal with her aftermath in the First Realm. She knew she would have to pay her price in helping build the foundation of the city or cities.
Liz, Rex, and the little girl sat down on the couch. Flipping through the news channels each station was saying different things.
"Armageddon is here. We have to find a way to protect humanity." A newscaster said.
"We believe that the Earth will recover. The damage to the core will take millenniums to recover." A scientist said.
"Dr. Do you think that this is the upcoming Apocalypse?" A newscaster asked.
"I believe that something shook the Earth to its core. We are looking into every possible way to help the core recover."
"I remember the last time we had you here sensei. You said, "A strange power in the hands of children and young adults is bad." What do you think happened during this catastrophe?"
"That is simple. A young person tried to hurt the mass of humanity. That person should come forward and reveal himself or herself."
"What makes you say to bring them forward?"
"Each country has lost thousands of people. The burden of carrying all of the deaths should make a person guilty beyond death."
Rex slammed his fist. He was so angry that he did not care anymore. The little girl did not understand why her brother was angry. Liz was happy that Rex was angry because that meant he would try something.
"Can we get most of humanity inside the Nine Realms?" Rex asked.
"Iris is already talking to her father and Demon about it." Liz answered with a smile.
Rex knew the consequences of provoking either father but smiled. He was not going to let anyone hurt his guardian.
"Well, we need to get back and see what we can do to help." Rex said depressed.
The little girl was upset because her brother was. Liz knew that Rex was going to do everything he could. She wanted him to realize he does not have to carry everything.
"Everything will be fine Rex." Liz hugged Rex.
Liz kissed Rex's forehead and said, "You can cry if you want."
Silent tears came from Rex because he knew how much it was going to hurt his parents. They had worked extremely hard at their jobs just to pay for the house.
It also hurt him because of all the good memories that should have been made here. He had hoped to live here with his wife and children keeping the house under the same name.
Liz did not speak anything and just allowed Rex to cry. The little girl seemed to understand that Rex needed this moment and went into the kitchen.
Rex looked up at Liz she had an angelic smile. That smile would forever be etched into Rex's Soul.
"I will not allow anyone or anything to harm this angelic smile." Rex made the silent vow.
The little girl came back with some cookies. Rex smiled and took the girls to town. They went and bought some milk and fresh cookies. Rex also decided to get some ice cream.
The trio stopped at a game shop and bought a game. They then found a good seat and ate their ice cream. The little girl was more than happy to share her ice cream with her brother. Liz did the same. Rex saved the last two bites for the girls.
The trio came back home and watched some end of the movies. The little girl fell asleep first, while Liz was able to stay up. Rex forced himself to stay awake for Liz.
