The High Ranked Demon finally got up. Demon Rex helped him down the stairs. When the two arrived at the living room, Sachie and Darkily were waiting for them.
"Sit we have questions that need to be answered." Sachie said.
Demon Rex looked at his friend. The two knew they were not in any condition to fight. The two sat down watching Darkily.
"Good. Now first off, are either one of you hungry or thirsty?" Sachie asked.
Demon Rex nodded yes. He was starving to the point of everything looked good right now.
"Darkily, fetch the water and meal for them." Sachie ordered.
Darkily looked upset but went with the flow. There was no plan for what was going on but the two of them did have several questions.
Darkily brought back four glasses of water. A meal large enough to feed ten people who would eat everything in sight. Demon Rex did not wait and started to eat. The High Ranked Demon also ate.
"I am glad you both are enjoying the meal. I made part of it and my sister bought the rest. Everything there is completely yours." Sachie said.
Demon Rex ate like there was no tomorrow. He was famished and the food tasted like heaven to him. The High Ranked Demon slowly ate because he was afraid of the food being poisoned somehow.
"Nothing here is poisoned. With Rex still asleep, the food belongs to you two. We will fix more when Rex wakes up." Olivia said entering the living room.
The High Ranked Demon felt more at peace. Even though there is still a chance that he could get poisoned. He was willing to eat better now.
While the duo ate, Iris and Liz both entered the house. They were extremely pissed by two demons walking around the Second Realm.
They wanted to let their fathers know but Margaret and Amber were in the Ninth Realm, Violet left Lumi to do whatever she wanted, and neither one of them wanted to leave the other's side. So the duo decided to see what was going on.
"We are not the greatest of fighters but we will fight if you dare to try anything." Iris said.
Water began to circle Iris, and the look she had made her seem like she was a powerful Water master.
A raging fire began to circle Liz and the look she had made her seem like a Phoenix being rebirth.
"Interesting." The High Ranked Demon responded.
Demon Rex paid no attention to either one of the girls. His mind was completely focused on filling his stomach.
The High Ranked Demon saw how Demon Rex did not care. This made him worry for his safety in the future.
"Alright. Start a question." The High Ranked Demon said.
"Why are two demons walking around the Second Realm?" Iris asked.
"I am simply helping him grow. The prophecy is coming true once again. I hope it ends better this time." The High Ranked Demon answered.
"Prophecy?" Iris asked.
"When a normal cultivator and a demon cultivator are in both Realms. There will be a great war, the war will not stop until either one dies or a submission is made." The High Ranked Demon answered.
"That is why he looks like Rex?" Liz asked.
"Yes. The former hero cultivator that sealed the Demon Realm had a demon in the Demon Realm. He became the 1st Seat in the High Ranked Demon table."
Iris and Liz both understood what it meant. Sachie and Olivia did not care but Darkily wanted more knowledge on the fact.
"I wish to know more but we can save that for another time. How much power did you exert when faced against Rex?" Darkily asked.
"I forced myself to the absolute maximum and the only reason why I am not dead. It is because of the Demonic Qi he got from 'Rex'." The High Ranked Demon answered.
Iris and Liz both smiled because they could use that to their advantage later on.
"Do you wish to stay the night or leave before supper?" Sachie asked.
"Leave."
"Okay." Sachie was hoping to let Rex ask a couple of questions before they left.
"I want the two of you to answer honestly." Olivia began, "Who and what was that man?"
The High Ranked Demon tensed up. He was not allowed to reveal anything about the HeavenlyJudge. He had already done so in his presence and hoped that he would live afterward.
"I will try to answer the best I can. I am not allowed to talk about him." The High Ranked Demon answered.
Demon Rex looked puzzled because he had not been told not to yet. So he decided to answer the best he could first.
"He is a Heavenly Judge, there are multiple of them. They all look the same and speak the same, the biggest difference is that only one can judge here in the Nine Realms. One judge is in the Demon Realm, there are four other judges. We have not been told where they reside at."
The High Ranked Demon did not know that Demon Rex knew all of that. This was a good sign that Demon Rex knew and could talk about it freely.
"Care to add anything?" Olivia asked.
"Nothing that would kill me instantly." The High Ranked Demon answered.
Hearing that talking about the Heavenly Judge could get one killed. Everyone looked upset, even the High Ranked Demon. He knew that they would have to get more visits from him/them.
Olivia went back upstairs to check on Rex.
The High Ranked Demon and Demon Rex both decided to accept their tasks.
"Well, we have to head back. There is stuff we have to get done. I will try to answer more questions when we return." The High Ranked Demon said and bowed.
"The food was delicious. I am glad that the demon version of the person you care about is wonderful. I hope to taste your cooking again without fear." The High Ranked Demon raised his head.
The High Ranked Demon and Demon Rex both left. Iris and Liz lead them out of the city. They wanted to be sure that no one suspected them of being demons.
Sachie prayed that she could cook for that Demon again. The Goddesses have not decided if that would be able to happen or not.
