Chapter 93 - Chapter 93 Training for Rex

With the vote over, the group looked to Rex to figure out what should happen next. Rex knew at some point he would have to cultivate but he was not completely positive about it.

"Well, due to your special body. You will have to eventually learn how to cultivate." Iris said.

"That is not the only problem Iris. I have to decide what I will fight for." Rex said.

"That is simple. You are fighting to have multiple Soul Mates." Liz said.

Rex looked dumbfounded he did not know that the women had already talked about it.

"Of course." Iris said nudging Sachie.

Sachie blushed because she started to remember what happened last night. Iris urged her to answer but it made Sachie more embarrassed.

"Let us train your body first. A strong body leads to strong cultivation." Olivia said.

Darkily was waiting outside hearing about the entire vote and what was going on now. He decided to let some 'friends' help with the training.

Darkily came in. Rex went to get into some better clothes for training.

"You want Rex to get better body training. I have some 'friends' who can help. They owe me that." Darkily said.

Hearing that some people owed Darkily. The women frowned. They knew that would be better than allowing Rex just to train.

"Get them for tomorrow. Today Rex is with me and I will push him to his limits." Olivia said with a devilish smile.

Iris and Liz both felt that Rex would not survive the training. Sachie knew her sister was about to utterly break Rex but she hoped that her love would not destroy Rex. Fenrir thought he saw something else rather than Olivia. Darkily knew that giving his 'friends' a day to prepare would be beneficial. They could also watch Olivia to see where Rex needs more training.

Once Rex got changed, he came down and found that Darkily had left. He wanted to spend a little time with him before he left. Seeing that he left, he would just have to wait.

"Oh well, next time will be okay." Rex inwardly cried.

Olivia took Rex and entered her arena at the school. Students were forbidden to enter unless they wanted death. This made several students think that the rumors going around were true.

"Time to begin." Olivia held a short sword in her hand.

"Okay." Rex also grabbed a short sword.

The two slowly began to clash. There was not much action, Olivia wanted Rex to get a little comfortable with a short sword in hand.

Finally, she began to increase her agility. Rex slowly got pushed back. Rex kept pushing himself to get better.

"I want power." Rex cried inwardly and outward.

Slowly the tattoo on his arm began to change forms. Instead of a simple black weird mark on his arm. It slowly became more refined, looking more like a demon's face.

Rex went to make a strike but Demonic Qi rushed out. Olivia was able to block it, however, the fear on Rex's face was overwhelming.

"I did not use any demonic Qi." Rex's voice trembled.

Olivia rushed over and looked at Rex's tattoo. She saw how the tattoo become more like a demon's face.

Olivia knew that the Qi could have been because of the tattoo. She also did not know how the tattoo changed shape.

"Do you know what made the tattoo change shape?" Olivia whispered.

Rex nodded no. The fear still planted on his face was strong. He did not want anyone else to get hurt.

"We have to train even harder now." Olivia said.

The duo left and headed outside of Lumi. When they were far enough from town. Rex began to swing the short sword harder and faster.

Sweat began to roll off his eyebrow while the morning was still going strong. Finally, a demonic Qi strike went off.

The destruction was not much but the short sword did not last with this demonic strike.

"Take mine and swing until you can not swing anymore. Even when you can not swing, swing to unleash your potential. Once your potential has been hit, swing to protect my sister and your guardians. Once you have swung for them, swing for your Fenrir. When you have protected them, swing to find what is missing in your life. Once that swing comes out. Your world will change and the heavens will change your

fate." Olivia told Rex.

"I will not do my best. I will do everything in my power to protect what I hold dear." Rex said.

Rex began to remember how much training he had put himself through the first time. How each mountain he climbed, there was another one even bigger than the last.

Rex kept swinging the short sword. The tattoo began to change shape slowly but surely while Rex was swinging.

Rex kept thinking about each Realm in his past. The harder he fought, the better the victory felt. He began to think about the wars. With each one being he, himself versus thousands.

The tattoo began to change shape into the form of Rex while he was waging war against thousands. A battle-hardened body cultivator with axes that almost do not dull with killing hundreds of thousands at a time.

Rex's arms began to shake with excitement. His arms felt something coursing through the veins. Whatever it was, they knew it had been a while since they felt it.

Rex continued to swing the sword. It slowly became noon. Olivia silently left to go get lunch. Darkily was waiting and watching Rex.

Watching a master barbarian be reborn. To Darkily's eyes, it was a battle maniac coming back from the dead. With each swing, the sharpness of the blade could be felt.

With each passing minute, more sweat rolled off of Rex's face. This was nothing to Rex and Darkily could feel that in the air.

Suddenly a slash came out of nowhere and nearly killed Darkily. Darkily moved and when he relooked at Rex. He saw a figure holding a short sword and another holding a battle axe.

"REX!" Darkily shouted in fear.

Rec woke up from his swinging. He glanced over at Darkily. Seeing him piss his pants from sheer shock.

"What happened?" Rex asked.

"Your training is ending for the day." Darkily grabbed Rex and headed towards the house.
