Waking up extremely late, Rex's father looked over to his lovely wife. Seeing her snuggle closer to him, he felt something extremely bad happened when he had drank her poison.
"Oh well, I will eventually be told what happened." He said.
He skillfully got out of his wife's grip. He had plenty of practice when he had to get to work early. She would always cry to him about it. Always having a good answer, she would never be able to find fault.
Walking to where his clothes were. He very quickly put on his clothes and found a basket outside his door.
"Please take a bath." The note was from Life-giver.
He found a nice set of clothing for him and his wife. Leaving the basket in the room, he left her towel on top.
He headed to where the bathroom should be. He finally went inside.
To his surprise he had accidentally walked in on Margaret and Amber taking a bath.
"Sorry." He darted out.
"At least we know where Rex got his quickness from." Amber said.
"That is what you are worried about." Margaret responded upset.
"He did not see me." Amber replied.
Margaret hoped that he did not see her completely. Even though they were supposed to be their guides. She was still a young maiden and only wanted the best for Iris and Liz.
"Well, we should take him to go get a bath." Margaret said.
She went and dried off. Amber followed behind and felt a sense of humor.
"Just wait till I tell your wife." Amber wanted to speak.
Seeing her intentions Margaret focused on her. Feeling dread coming from her companion, she decided not to tell his wife.
The girls led him to the men's bath. Arriving he felt shame because he had mistakenly gone into the women's bath.
"I hope they do not feel upset." He said.
Shortly after he entered, Life-giver entered and cheered him up. The two had a decent talk.
Finally, when the men exited. Kaede was outside and already had her bath.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UP?!" Kaede almost yelled.
"You were sleeping so peacefully." He flirted.
Due to his surprise, that only made her madder.
"Okay." He sighed.
He put his hand on her waist and said, "The mouse got the cat." He darted.
This move made her extremely mad.
"YOU DARE PLAY WITH ME NOW?!" Kaede bee-lined to where her husband went.
"I see Rex got to see plenty of this growing up." Amber felt betrayed.
Margaret too felt that this would happen if Iris and Liz married Rex. She did not feel so much betrayed but lonely.
"Make sure to get the couple some alone time. Here is the letter that he needs to read with her." Life-giver said.
The girls turned around and saw another person handing the letter to them.
"So you decided to hire an assistant after so long." Amber was upset.
"He has always been with me. He just takes care of some more important matters rather than hanging around the Sect." Life-giver replied.
The girls took the letter and went to catch up with the couple.
To their surprise they saw Rex's mother stomping her foot outside their bedroom.
"What happened?" Amber spoke.
"He went through the window. I cannot fit. I am so ready to hang him by his toes and keep him locked up." She had about enough of the game.
"Honey, if you do not hurry then I will make it to the stairway before you." Hearing that she darted to the door.
The girls went after her. They felt this game was going to be a bad ending.
When the women arrived at the stairs. They saw Rex's father getting on a Pegasus.
"NO!" Amber shouted.
They darted where the Pegasus were. If any man was by himself around one. They would normally get stomped to death.
The Pegasus that was there had intentionally waited there for him. It was her turn to have him on her back. Watching Rex's father just get on her back.
Amber and Margaret tripped over their feet. They had never seen the Pegasus ever accept a man get on their back before.
The Pegasus flew into the air. Turning around and allowed Rex's father to grab Margaret before flying to where the other Pegasus was.
"NO FAIR!" Kaede shouted and darted again.
The disciples that ended in her way felt a massive being hit them. Even being at a higher cultivation than the woman. She still nearly knocked out the disciples.
With each disciple she hit, she would start to tumble over but catch herself and continue to run forward.
The Elders were surprised to see such an athletic woman. They hoped she would return and help teach the disciples what it means to be unstoppable.
Amber and Kaede got on the other Pegasus and saw it running. Kaede forced the Pegasus to run faster.
It felt betrayed because Amber was not telling the manly voice on her to stop.
When the group finally arrived back together. Rex's father laughed hard.
"That was fun. We should do it again sometime."
Margaret, Amber, and both Pegasus felt their hearts sink.
"The mouse has not gotten away yet." Kaede smiled.
Seeing the couple play cat and mouse. The girls felt that Rex plays something similar with Iris and Liz.
"The three of them need to get together." Amber spoke.
Hearing something like that, Kaede wondered if she was talking about Rex and the girls.
"My son cannot have a harem. I know the Goddesses blessed him with the sisters but those don't count." Kaede said.
Margaret wanted to puke her guts out hearing Rex's mother.
"What do you call all of us then?" Margaret asked.
"Friends." She replied instantly.
Hearing how Rex's mother felt about the whole situation. The girls felt that they had been wronged.
"What about you sir?" Margaret asked.
He took a minute to think about how to put his answer.
"At first you all were his guardians." He started.
Taking another minute to finish his thoughts, "Now, you all are friends. Even though each of your dates ended badly for someone. Rex still likes each and every one of you."
He sighed before continuing.
"I hope you girls understand. I do not think that Rex can truly allow himself to part ways. I feel like the past Rex we saw. He would have loved each and every one of you then." He finished.
The rest of the journey through the Sixth Realm was quiet. The group arrived at the stairway and went forward to the Seventh Realm.
