Rex's father took a fighting stance. He fought his opponent and won.
"Congratulations! Even though I personally held back, you did not and even proves yourself worthy." His opponent said.
"Thanks." Rex's father extended his hand.
The two shook hands and the crowd cheered.
Not wanting to fight another match because he was mentally and physically exhausted. The duo returned to the inn.
The next morning
Everyone came out to visit Rex's father before he left. He and his wife were both blessed by the people.
"This may not be such a bad thing." Rex's mother thought.
They went to the stairway.
Walking up the stairway, faint cracks could be seen. Neither one of the parents knew what this was.
"These cracks are from people who have crossed the bottom line in the stairway." Amber said.
The deeper they go, the more cracks that appeared.
"This was not such a good idea." Rex's father said.
Margaret and Amber both looked sad. They knew that this was the truth.
"Only if one made a huge impact in a realm can they ascend or descend it without using the stairway." Margaret answered.
"Well, that sucks." Rex's mother sighed.
"Our Sect Masters can go to any Realm. They made huge impacts on each of them. We were not granted them nor their daughters." Amber replied with a heavy heart.
Hearing that, they hoped that Rex would be able to one day.
"The couple who made an impact on this Realm." A voice said.
Rex's parents looked at each other. They found it nerve racking that a voice talked about what they just thought.
"You will be able to now ascend and descend to the Fourth Realm at anytime. Due to being new participants in the arena and just receiving the blessing of cultivating."
Hearing the voice, they entered the Fifth Realm without anything else happening.
There wasn't anything there that really made them want to go down. So the group advanced to the Sixth Realm.
Entering the stairway, the cracks that were on the previous stairway was here also. The cracks themselves were not long but deep.
"Why are these cracks different than the previous ones?" Rex's mother asked.
"Some say they are from when the previous Demon King fought here. Some say these were left as a warning from the mysterious God. Others think the some people found a way to fly here and the deeper the crack went, the harder it was for those who could fly to get out." Margaret replied.
"I personally don't know what to think." Amber said.
"I do not want to get hit with one of those cracks." Rex's parents replied.
Hearing the reply, Margaret and Amber continued to the Sixth Realm.
In the Sixth Realm there was nothing but forest.
Since the Pegasus could not fly above it, they had to run through it. Making who was in front a terrible decision.
The two did their best not to get ahead of each other but occasionally one would the other. Making the other jealous.
Slowing back down, the group found it funny that the Pegasus were being competitive. Eventually the group met up with some of the Sect Disciples from Life-giver's Sect.
"The Sect Hall is this way." A man motioned.
The group went on following the man. Upon arriving at a wooden gate. The group entered and saw a massive sect behind it.
Disciple quarters were inside trees, massive trees were used to house the major buildings in the Sect, a wooden set of stairs with different flora around it led to Life-giver's house and Main Building.
The parents rushed up the stairs. They wanted to see Life-giver after such a long time.
"Feels like the old days when we chased each other." Rex's father thought.
Finally arriving at the top. There was no one there to greet them.
"Sorry you must have an appointment to meet the Sect Master." A woman in a white robe came out and spoke.
"Dear us, we are friends with Life-giver. Can we talk to him?" Rex's mother said.
"YOU DARE TO TREAT THIS LIKE A JOKE!" The woman screamed.
Several disciples all came out to see what was going on.
"How dare you yell at Life-giver's friends!" Amber spoke with authority.
Seeing the Great Evil and Great Good Sect badges on Margaret and Amber. The woman knew she had screwed up.
"Please explain why they are his friends!" The woman demanded.
"They are my friends because I said they were." Life-giver appeared behind the woman.
"Sect Master. I am sorry for doubting your friends." The woman bowed.
"As punishment, you must serve them." Life-giver replied.
He walked his friends in to the Main building.
"I will serve them but I was not given orders not to make them charmed." The woman chuckled.
The woman went and fixed some tea and cookies. She spiced Rex's father cup with an ancient poison. The poison would enter a man and make him crazy about whoever poisoned him. It became so addictive that most people stopped going to restaurants because they did not want their fiance or husband becoming a sex addict with every woman.
She spiced Rex's mother cup with an modern poison. This poison would enter the woman and she would instantly fall in love with the first woman in view. It was different from the man's in that it could linger for days or become extreme lust for any woman. This poison would last until another woman came in view.
"They will love me to no ends and I will have their hearts crushed." The woman said.
Walking back to the Main building she had already labeled the cups so that no one would get them mixed up. She also made another batch in case the first cup failed.
The good thing about living here is that Life-giver would not pay attention to anyone using flora. That was also his mistake. He had made this Sect where he could not and at times he wished he would have.
This time would be a time that he greatly appreciated that he made it where he could not hear.
