Rex carried Layla home. Layla was extremely happy not because she was carried. Rex waited at the gate for her and her sister.
"We are truly blessed." Layla thought.
She said a silent prayer to the Goddesses because she was happy.
Once the trio arrived at the house. Iris was upset because Rex carried her home. Iris knew that the Headmaster deserved that. With Rex being out all day, the Headmaster needed some time with Rex.
Everyone decided that they were going to eat supper inside. Rex was forced to cook from his guardians. Olivia and Layla then decided to join in and have Rex cook.
"Ugh." Rex went and cooked.
Once thirty minutes were up, Rex had almost finished supper. There was not much left to cook but allowed everything to get cooled off.
"Here we go everyone." Rex shouted.
Everyone came in and ate. The dogs came inside too.
Rex handed each person and dog a plate full of food. Everyone gladly enjoyed the meal.
"Is there any good place around here to get animals appraised?" Rex asked.
"I only know of one place." Olivia said.
Rex got his hopes up.
"I do not much like that place though. The appraisal will be 100% authentic but the people inside are shady." Olivia sighed.
Hearing about the people, Rex looked at the dogs. Seeing how happy they were, Rex knew that the 100% authentic appraisal was better than the people being shady. Simply because he would slaughter anyone and everyone if they tried to bother them more.
"Olivia, you, Darkily and I will go visit them tomorrow. I do want these guys appraised and proven right. You and Darkily will be our protection." Rex said.
Olivia smiled. She knew why Rex said it like that. Darkily began sweating profusely outside. Hearing what was about to happen.
"I will visit them now." Darkily thought and went there.
Everyone went to sleep that night. The sisters with Rex and the guardians slept together. Darkily slept inside the appraisal building making everyone and everything nervous.
The next morning, Rex led the dogs who were following Olivia. A nice building in the middle of town was the appraisal.
"Make sure you do not have any demons in your heart before entering." The back side of the building entrance said.
Reading the logo. Rex began to sweat. He hoped his Demonic Qi would stay calm. He had not been able to train it properly yet.
Darkily was waiting inside. He made sure that Rex was getting the VIP treatment before the night ended.
Looking around the place, blood was splattered everywhere. Rex felt that something was wrong.
Going up to the counter. Rex felt fear coming from the people behind it.
"I am Rex. I need these creatures appraised." Rex pointed to the dogs.
If Darkily just being there brought fear to the people. Hearing that Rex was there drowned the people in absolute dread.
"Riiiiggghhhtttt aaaa wwwwaaayyy ssiiirrr." The people stuttered.
"Damn these people are scared." Rex thought.
Olivia looked over to Darkily who winked at her. Olivia winked back.
That was the signal that they began using to let each other know that they made Rex's appearance known. In the future, that wink would bring destruction to several Sects.
The people inside began moving and shifting people around so that Rex and his dogs would get in front.
Many people became furious. Darkily moved slower and let everyone know that death had entered the building. If he was not appeased, everyone and everything would die.
The people and creatures inside all felt fear. They did not know why death had entered the place. They all bowed and prayed to the Goddesses for protection.
The Goddesses decided to ignore those prayers. If they truly hurt Rex or hurt what Rex wants. They would want to kill the mortals themselves.
Walking into a destroyed room, Rex did not like what he saw. Tools everywhere, broken blades, shattered glass, a metal table that looked like a used slaughtering wooden board, carts turned over, skulls hanging from the walls and sticks poked inside the walls to hold more skulls.
"I want to hurry and leave here." Rex said.
Olivia agreed. Darkily entered just before someone else did.
"Sorry about my room. I trashed it last week because a woman decided she did not want legs anymore. I kept telling her she needed to walk. She decided against it and nearly killed me. In order to keep myself from harming her. I trashed my room and this is the first time I've entered." A scrawny man entered and spoke.
"At least he did not intentionally hurt the woman." Rex cried inwardly.
"Shall we go to my office or do you want to get the appraisal done here?" The scrawny man asked.
"Your office." Olivia answered.
"Follow me." Everyone exited the room and was excited to see the office.
Everyone entered and saw barely an office. Papers all the way up to the ceiling across the entire walls. Two chairs in the office one was being used to hold the desk up and the other was piled full of trash.
"At least we cannot get hurt here. I hope." Rex thought.
"Who is getting appraised?" The scrawny man asked.
"These guys. I have not named them yet. I wanted to give them proper names once I know what species they are." Rex answered.
"From looking at them, they are Dire Wolves. I do not need an appraisal tool for that. There are different Dire Wolves that have special abilities. Do you want me to get the appraisal for that or not?" The scrawny man asked.
"Sure why not?" Rex answered.
"I will be right back." The scrawny man went out.
It was not even a minute later before the entire building was hearing, "WOMAN GIVE ME MY APPRAISAL TOOL OR YOU WILL NOT LIKE ME TOMORROW!"
"OH I AM SCARED. PLEASE HELP ME." In the most sarcastic voice.
"THAT IS IT! YOU ARE NOW FIRED AND ARE RELIEVED OF HELPING THE MEN IN THIS PLACE!"
"WHO IN THE BLAZING HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE!"
"I AM THE OWNER AND YOU ARE FIRED! LEAVE NOW BEFORE I SHOVE MY FIST UP YOUR ASSHOLE!"
Everyone inside the front side felt sorry for the lady. For the people on the back side they all felt that it should be deserved.
A few minutes later, the scrawny man returned.
"Sorry about the yelling on the front side of the building. Your VIP trip here would normally be 10 gold but due to the yelling. Today your cost will be paid, I hope you forgive us and visit us again." The scrawny man bowed.
"I hope to never come here again." Rex thought.
"Of course we will visit again." Darkily said.
"Just make sure we continue to get the VIP treatment." Olivia said.
Rex looked at them both and felt something amiss. He knew Darkily had spent the night here but did not know why.
"Now to the appraisal." The scrawny man said.
