Chapter 36 - Chapter 36 The reasoning for SSS pt1

Getting their breath back after watching the demon with Rex's face leave. Rex and his mother both felt a world of headaches coming on.

Rex's mother knew that the demon she saw was exactly a copy of Rex. She did not even have to guess herself. She watched her son grow up and took thousands of pictures during the years to go back in time and flip through the pictures. What she was worried about was how the girls would react.

Rex on the other hand had no idea what to say to the girls. He was not worried about what was going to happen. What his problem was is how to face himself. Would he be strong enough to face a demon that looked like him? Does the demon get stronger with him? Was the demon equally strong as his past life?

With those questions going through his mind. Rex decided to wait a little longer before advancing.

"Let's go mother."

The duo set off deeper into the cave.

"This place is giving me the creeps." Rex's mother shivered.

"Yeah caves do that sometimes."

Rex knew very few dangers were in this cave.

With a couple of torches in the cave. Rex grabbed one and the descent began.

It was not only before Rex heard chatter. Rex stopped his mother. He had already dealt with a yellow striped wooded spider and this was probably a female chattering to his guess.

"If it is, do I just run past or try to figure out where the chatter is coming from?" Rex's thoughts were a mess.

Rex knew that a female yellow striped wooded spider normally makes their home in the Ninth Realm because of that. Nearly all of those spiders live there.

Knowing he killed one, if there is a chance that there is another. A yellow striped wooded female spider will once again make their home here. Rex was in trouble either way.

"I guess I just hope that there is no hole for here. If there is I can toss my mother away. She will not die a horrible death."

Rex began to think how he could easily destroy a web from the yellow striped wooded spider without causing massive damage everywhere.

Rex remembered from an anime he watched how a young boy with unnatural strength would flick his fingers.

Rex did the same and the chattering stopped.

Rex grabbed his mother's waist and jolted.

He was not going to let a yellow striped wooded female spider even get close to his mother.

Once he came across another set of torches. He stopped running and sat his mother down to catch her breath.

"Why...run...so....hard...?" Rex's mother was panting.

"I did not want anything bad to happen." Rex said.

He was extremely glad that the yellow striped wooded spider did not make her hole beneath her web. Although that doesn't mean he was out of the woods yet.

He had not even realized that his danger senses were crawling. He was more worried about his mother than anything.

Once the mother and son calmed down, Rex felt his entire body stiffen up. He could not feel anything around him.

Rex's mother grabbed a torch and threw it out on the ground in front of them.

Thousands of snakes were in front of them. Rex then asked his mother to do the same behind them.

Once she did, Rex saw the female yellow striped wooded spider. It was completely different from a male.

With a single yellow strip and its body completely red. It alone made most people faint. That was not the end. On its abdomen was face. If the face was happy, then it had succeeded in killing a male on a tree. If it was a frown, it would have failed. Then the neutral face made the entire spider look demonic.

With twelve green dots, which were her eyes. She could easily see anything within her vision. From the tops of trees to the bottom of a lake. Almost nothing was hidden from her eyes. They were her teeth that were two almost black shiny sparkles.

Rex looking at his choices knew either one was a bad choice. A single female spider that was ready to launch an aggressive attack or the thousands of snakes that were more than likely poisonous and with almost no chance to return unharmed.

Rex's mother knew her son was not in good condition to make any kind of choice. So she tried to log off but could not because of all the enemies near her.

"I wish I could make a breakthrough." She sighed and sat down.

Rex began to feel worse and worse with each passing second. On the first hand, he had gotten his mother into trouble. Second, he could barely communicate like this.

Rex then saw his mother cultivate. That struck an idea. If he could not think why not cultivate while the guys cannot enter the lighted area.

Rex began to do so. Rex's mother also cultivated and noticed her son's almost explosive cultivation technique.

She had never felt a technique before but this was something she would never forget. The feeling of slow cultivation versus the insanity of forcing Qi into oneself. She knew she would eventually be able to do that.

She honestly hoped that there were better ways to cultivate. With short cultivation, Rex's mind cleared.

He looked at the choices again and knew that he had to kill the female spider.

The thing was if there was one. Usually another one was there too. Rex did not have time to fear the unknown. He quickly flicked his finger and sent the spider flying.

Grabbing the torch with his left hand. He picked up his mother on his right. This woke her up from her cultivation. Normally, this would hurt the one who was cultivating but in the first Realm without a solid core. This did not hurt his mother.

His mother got a torch in each hand and waved them at their feet. While Rex waved it above them. Forcing thousands of snakes back into their homes inside this cave.
