Elle came running into the room, clearly in a panic. She was wearing an apron with pancake batter on it and was carrying a spatula. She was even more surprised to see another shadow in her living room.
"What is going on?!" She yelled. "Why are the shadows in my house and why do they look like that?"
The shadow themselves were in pain as light was cracking through their skin.
"Curse you!" The shadow yelled. "How dare you do this to me!"
"Who is the shadow lord?!" Dax yelled, in a demanding tone. He wanted to find the answer before he was drained of his mana, or the shadows expired.
"He is the savior of the world!" The shadow said. "The one who will bring peace and restore the rightful order!"
"What are you even talking about?" Fey asked. "The world is at peace right now. There haven't been any major conflicts in years."
