"Oh well." Dax said as he got himself out of his bed. "No point in dwelling on weird visions, right?" He then changed into a new uniform and made his way outside of his room. As he got into the hallway, he looked over to the room that Fey was staying in. The door was closed.
He thought she had either already gotten up and ready or that she was still inside. He thought for a moment. He wanted desperately to go and apologize for his accident last night, but he did not want to wake her if she was still asleep. Nor did he want to face her rage if she was still angry. His cheek still tingled from her slap last night.
Deciding against it he headed downstairs. Drakie rode atop his head, singing a little song to himself about pancakes.
Dax made his way into the kitchen and found his mother busy working at the stove.
"Good morning mom." Dax said.
