"Let's go that way…" Fey said as she pointed to the path of destruction that was laid out by Dax's fireball attack on the dire wolf. The wolf sized projectile had cleared a straight path through the forest, enough so that the moon light would shine through to illuminate their path ahead.
"Don't you think that is where they will investigate first?" Dax asked. "Seems like a bad idea."
"But it is in the direction we want to go." Fey said. "Besides, your little dragon will tell us if anyone is coming. He warned us about the wolves after all."
"Can you do that, Drakie?" Dax asked.
"Drakie can!" Drakie said happily. "Drakie shall earn his pancakes!"
"Alright." Dax said. "Let's go."
"Follow closely you three." Helen said as she started down the path.
