The New World
Year 1930. An unknown scientist found about the Ironclad Disease, or as it was later called, Ironclad-Bio Infection, IBI for short.
This infection had 2 different type of results in people and animals. As it turned out, IBI was caused by a type of metallic microorganism, that acted differently on Male subjects and Female subjects.
While a male body was infected by the microorganism, the victim's body would grow significantly larger at a level that it would be impossible to recognise the owner of the body. The outer shell of the body would have a iron-like matter that would be so strong, that it could hardly be damaged by anything. Although explosions and firepower are effective, a high mass of them are needed, as such, they are mostly inefficient.
The female counterparts, however, hardly go trough any physical change. The infected parts of the body, unlike the males, are mostly inner organs, such as the liver, heart, and even brain at worst. Although with a higher death rate, females seem to posses something that males rarely do against the infection. Resistance.
When males are effected by the infection, there is a high chance that the person may die (%85). On the other hand, females are merely effected by the diseases in most cases, as their death percentage is 2/5 (%40).
Although the microorganism seemed like it was unable to spread quickly, many people at the same time showed the symptoms of the IBI disease. As it later founded, the cause of this incident was how the microorganism came to be in the first place...
