The training had ended and Sage called his men into the room they had rented in the hotel. He told them to take their seats and they did while he made a latte for them. After he was done, he also took his seat and sip slowly from his latte as he talked. "What have you got?" He demanded from the others.
Rae was the first to speak. "The moon pack also practices the golden combat skill," he relayed and Sage nodded his head. "You got to know?" He asked Sage.
"Not really, I just guess they would also practice the skill because it is the top skill and everyone will love to practice it whereas packs will also want their fighters to use the skill since it is a strong skill," Sage answered and they agreed with him.
One of his men then decided to talk. "Moon packs have tight security, we find it hard to get into the training even when we use the same strategy as the other ones."
"I also noticed that," Sage confirmed. "But we also managed to kick down some guards while finding our way into the pack building."
"Really? You guys were able to get into the pack building?" Rae asked in shock.
Sage and his men that had followed him chuckled. "Yes, we did but it wasn't as easy as it is, we made a lot of effort," Sage asserted and they all laughed. "We were able to take part in the meeting that was going on," he revealed and the others gasped. He nodded his head and sip from his latte then he looked up at them again, he continued, "They were having a meeting about the assassins that had come to disturb their pack and the way the Gamma explained them makes it understandable that they are the same Assassins that are coming to disrupt our pack. Which means we're having the same problem as they do," Sage disclosed while the fighters listened in shock. Sage smiled seeing their countenance. "I was also able to meet the Beta's daughter and she also did a great job in revealing to me the skills the assassins make use of."
A wow escaped from the fighter's mouth. They were glad to have finally known the skills the assassins made use of. It was what they had been wanting to hear of the time they kept moving from pack to pack.
Sage continued. "It's great to finally get what we have been looking for but there's still a problem. I only got to know that the assassins make use of the golden highest skills which is the top hardest skill to learn but we don't know how the skill is being used. So, what I need from y'all is to go out tomorrow and ask someone who has learned the hardest skill to make a freestyle of it so we can know how exactly it is being used."
"Can we also learn it from them?" One of the men asked.
"Looking at how they had talked about it in the meeting, I don't think it would be that easy to learn. All you have to do is to take notice of anyone you're able to grasp then we can all come together and discuss what we have managed to take notice of, okay?"
"Yes, Alpha," they all chorused and it was the end of their discussion. Sage told them to go for dinner and advised them to sleep early so that it might be possible for them to leave for their pack after they'd succeeded in finding out the assassin's skills. They all left happily leaving their Alpha and his Beta in their room.
"You're doing great, Alpha. How were you able to get into the pack building without being caught?" Rae asked, not able to figure out how Sage had succeeded in entering the pack building and returning from it. Sage smiled and went on to explain how their entry was great leaving Rae to laugh hilariously at his voyage. Then they both had dinner and retired to bed.
The Next Morning|
"Let's leave for the pack," Sage announced. They all squealed happily and ran to their various rooms to pack their clothes.
Earlier in the day, they had all gone out like Sage had instructed them to. Unfortunately for them, as they began to ask Moon shifters about the Golden skills, none of them were able to say a word about it. Some said they knew it but can't teach or show them because their Alpha King always gets hold of whosoever was caught using the skills to interrogate the person on where he or she had learnt the skills. They also relayed that many of the pack fighters were still in the King's custody since the query was still going on.
The moment Sage heard of it, he called his men back and told them to stop asking about it to avoid any suspicion of them. "They are taking action in finding out in their pack at first. I guess we have to do the same. We have to return to the pack and also start some investigation within the pack," Sage comprehended and finally announced that they should leave for their pack.
A few hours later, they were all back in their pack again. Passing through every region in their pack, they were greatly welcomed by pack members. The pack filled with excitement seeing them return safely from their trip after spending four days away.
The first person Sage came across the moment he stepped his feet out of his car, was Aurora who had run her way out of their chamber to see if truly he was back.
"As you can see, it took me just four days to return, honey," Sage teased and Aurora gave him a stern look. Suddenly, she pulled his ears and drew him closer to her while he winced in pain.
"You must be dumb to use four days," she uttered and didn't wait a minute to clasp her lips on his. He groaned at how aggressively she kissed him and chuckled between the kisses.
