Chapter 4 - Chapter 4 - It's you!

"I'm sorry I bumped into you but you don't have to be so rude about it" I gave him a disgusted look.

"Rude? If you weren't that blind then maybe you wouldn't have fallen on me" He clenched his jaw as his eyes were icy cold like a frozen lake.

He was a cruel yet beautiful creature.

"I apologised so why can't you idiotic Gods just forgive me?".

"I don't have time for this. You better be grateful I didn't end up punishing you " He growled in a deep tone.

"Punishing me? You are just a stupid child with a vile mouth and obviously, your parents never taught you how to treat others properly" I yelled at him as my blood boiled.

All he could have done was avoid this mess and now I had to deal with another God like Alina who can't keep their own mouth shut.

"Clearly, your attitude is worse than your looks" He stared at my clothes as he hid his smile.

I despised people like him and now I knew why Adora told me to be careful of beasts like themselves.

I stood up, ensuring I had not injured myself yet my leg was in pain as it was swollen.

I did not show any sign of fear on my face.

"If you don't shut your mouth I will rip it out from your face" I clenched my hands into fists.

He plastered a face of amusement while Alina stood there in shame trying not to look at the gaze of the male.

"Ignore her! She doesn't know what she is doing!" She explained as if she was on the verge of weeping.

"This isn't your fight Alina," He said in a low tone of voice.

"But-".

"Hey, miss perfectionist. Why don't you crawl back to whatever hole you came from" I grinned.

She was in utter shock but she kept her mouth shut.

"You have quite the big mouth for a woman like yourself" He stepped closer to me.

"Really? Then why don't you stick around and you can see what other things my mouth can do?" I crossed my arms while I stared into those blood-red eyes of his.

He stopped moving all of a sudden and he covered his face with his hand.

I wondered what had made him stop yet a gruesome smile of corruption changed his aura.

"You are a very special woman for a petty creature. If I tear your heart out what would it look like? Delicious? Alluring? Irresistible?" He took the mick out of me and he loved torturing me every second of this conversation.

My face tightened into an infuriated expression although my brain felt like it was a ticking bomb about to explode.

I made my way to him and I grabbed his black tie around my fist, squeezing it tightly.

"I had enough of you Gods. You all may think I am weak but I swear one day you will all regret ever speaking to me in that manner" My voice was a wicked echo of catastrophe.

The young male didn't say a word but he studied me carefully.

His eyes landed on the necklace that my mother had given me.

He seemed to be intrigued by it as he gently ran his finger through it.

I yanked my necklace away from him and his attention was now on me.

"That is a beautiful necklace you have there. Ever thought of selling it?" His voice begged for the necklace.

"It is not for sale. Someone I loved gave me this necklace" I protested.

He was disappointed by my reaction.

"Well, if you ever thought of giving me this necklace for a hefty price you know where to find me. I am Damien God of War and Conflict and you are?" He asked me with an alluring voice.

My heart stopped beating for a moment as I heard his name.

My stomach felt as if it was knotted in tangles and my face went pale.

I tried to hide my emotions yet I could feel nausea haunting me.

I cannot let him read my expressions.

"I am Adriana Goddess of Darkness" I changed my face into a calm and relaxed smile but my whole body shivered underneath.

What was he going to do with me?

"I will see you next time, lady Adriana" He grinned in a devilish manner while he walked away with his polished black leather shoes.

Alina turned her face towards me.

"You are done for" She barked back.

She then hurried back to Damien as she was his loyal pet.

They both disgusted me.

It seemed to me that Olympus won't be an easy place to live in.

With Gods like them, they will be on my tail.

I hurried towards the west building to find my new room.

I overheard a couple of girls about where the rooms were and I had to go straight there before I run into any more of them.

This city was filled with secrets and I will be the first to uncover them all.
