Chapter 1 - Trasmigrator

My name... well, it escapes me now, but what remains vivid in my memory is the relentless pursuit of connections between myths and scientifically accepted history throughout my youth and into my thirties. Eventually, I became an historian, although many regarded me as someone who refused to abandon childhood fantasies. Little did they know that a twist of fate awaited me, something straight out of the pages of fiction.

It all started with a thunderous crash, followed by a searing pain in my head. Slowly, I opened my eyes to a dimly lit room. My vision was blurred, but I could make out a figure moving back and forth, tending to the room's tidiness and shutting the window. Lightning outside momentarily transformed the darkness into a daylight-like glow.

To keep it brief, in this new life, I came to be known as Noah Romer, the second son of an ordinary middle-class family. At just sixteen years old, my parents were employed by a company in the bustling city of Anglene, situated within the Eurica Union on this planet, my predecessor in this new world, possessed a personality characterized by a subtle complexity. He was, at his core, a quiet and introspective individual, often lost in thought. His disposition leaned towards introversion, preferring the company of books and solitude over the clamor of social gatherings.Beneath the surface of this quiet demeanor layed a deep well of adventure and kindness. He had a gentle, reassuring presence, often offering a ear to those who needed it. This empathy extended to his family, especially his sister Emily, for whom he held a protective and affectionate bond.

My now parents, Helen and David Romer, had always been hardworking individuals, deeply ingrained in the routine of their everyday lives. Helen, my mother, worked tirelessly as a nurse in a local clinic, her dedication to her patients unparalleled. David, my father, was an accountant, meticulous in his work and known for his calm demeanor. They raised my older sister, Emily and my predecessor with love and discipline in the bustling city of Anglene, situated within the Eurica Union on this planet.

I had hoped that this new existence would thrust me into the role of a protagonist in a grand tale. Yet, much to my surprise, this world mirrored my past one in countless ways. It boasted cars, planes, firearms, and even weapons of mass destruction. I abandoned my attempts to reshape this reality according to my fantasies and instead fell back into the routine of my predecessor. Aside from differences in names and lifestyles, this world closely resembled Earth. Its inhabitants received education from elementary school to college, leaving me wondering why it had to be this way. This was not what I had envisioned. There was no trace of magic, no ethereal energy, not even the faintest whisper of supernatural events.

Faced with this realization, I found myself at a loss. When I first discovered that I had traversed into an alternate reality, I harbored certain expectations. Yet, as I delved into the memories of this body I now inhabited, it became clear that this world was merely more technologically advanced. Oh, but it was not as simple as I initially perceived. Everything I had longed for in the past—the wonders and mysteries—existed here, tantalizingly close, yet beyond my reach if I chose to merely continue on the preexisting path.

However, that fateful night, when the clouds waltzed like soaring pigeons across the sky, I stumbled upon something remarkable. It was a revelation that certain skills and ancient martial arts, nearly forgotten in my previous society, held an unexpected power in this world. Yet, they remained inaccessible to regular individuals like myself. This discovery marked the commencement of what I can only describe as my adventure. For in this realm, power was not solely confined to the realms of science and technology.

All of this came about due to an object, incomplete in its records, I held an enigmatic object, its true nature shrouded in mystery. Its surface gleamed with an otherworldly luminescence, hinting at a power far beyond comprehension. It exuded an aura of ancient wisdom, as if it had witnessed the rise and fall of civilizations throughout time. The symbols and inscriptions, recorded in their contours, suspended secrets and lost knowledge. The touch of it sent chills through my column, evoking a sense of destiny intertwined. This object, with its inscrutable objective, had the key to unlocking a tapestry of secrets that could vary the course not only of my own trip but of the whole world itself. His transcendence resonated in the deep of me, forcing me to unravel his mysteries and embrace the extraordinary path that he advances.

And so, I left the familiarity of my home, taking my first tentative steps down a new path I yearned to explore. Filled with conjecture and keen observations, I set out on a quest to obtain supernatural abilities. This led me from one place to another, inadvertently stirring conflicts with beings of the supernatural who perceived me as a threat, while also attracting the attention of curious minds who called themselves warriors.

It was a peculiar time, existing between the ordinary lives of those oblivious to the secrets and mysteries of the supernatural realm. Amidst the tranquility of this unfamiliar land, I discovered that these warriors too were drawn to my presence, their curiosity piqued by my arrival.

What I didn't know was that it wasn't just martial arts that existed in this world. As I delved deeper into my journey, I discovered a vast array of supernatural phenomena and extraordinary abilities that had eluded the notice of the ordinary inhabitants. There were those who possessed the power to control elements, bending fire and water to their will. Others could communicate with spirits, traversing the boundary between the living and the ethereal. Some were blessed with extraordinary strength, defying the limits of human capability. The very fabric of this world seemed interwoven with hidden powers and ancient secrets, waiting to be unraveled. With each new encounter and revelation, I realized that my quest for supernatural prowess was leading me not only to martial arts but to a realm brimming with unimaginable possibilities.
