The citizens of the Gob area cheered and wished for the happiness and longevity of their ruler - the goblin king and his two sons, who were six months and seven months old respectively.
The one who was seven months old was Gokin and the younger one was Popi.
Gokin was a very bright kid and a king candidate. Though Popi was also bright and smart he wasn't as strong as Gokin, and here in this world strength mattered the most.
Gokin had inherited most of his father's genes – strong build and high growth rate as for Popi, he mostly inherited his mother's traits… short-statured and a little lower growth rate when compared to other goblins.
Therefore, most of the goblins thought Gokin to be a better candidate.
