He went forward and picked up the helmet, looking at it as if it was the greatest treasure, he ever received but internally he was cursing the orc.
All the goblins started to collect the loot and give it to Rei who was presenting it to the orc.
The orc was just sitting and looking at the loot, presented by Rei.
After presenting all the loot they all left the place.
Rei was currently grinning from ear to ear. The reason because he successfully managed to steal four mana stones.
Mana stones were extremely expensive items that could be sold for quite a hearty sum.
Other than selling, one could even exchange them for good items or a lot of food!
Mana stone was primarily beneficial for magic users but since he couldn't use magic he would sell it.
"Brother, Brother."
As he reached his home which was practically a hut he heard excited screams as five goblin kids ran towards him.
"Just wait for a movement I will quickly go and get some food for you all.", Rei said after hugging them and patting them.
He said as he dashed toward the jungle. He was very weak and couldn't hunt but he could buy food from markets.
The so-called markets were places set up by the Orcs who would let the goblins buy food and other items at the expense of various things – especially mana stones.
"They will finally sleep with a full stomach for some days." A smile appeared on his face as he searched through his bag to grab one of the mana stones but instead, he grabbed the helmet.
"Tch, this trash helmet let's check it out anyway." He said as he wore it but everything was black.
Instead of covering his head, the helmet just slide down and fit him after reaching his eyes, however, this only darkened his vision.
'Damn… Am I supposed to use this as a guard!?'
'Guard for what…? My eyes? How the heck am I going to run in case of danger if I can't see?'
"Fucking garbage," he said as he removed the helmet and searched through his bag, looking for the mana stones.
He finally found them, unfortunately, there were only two!
"Where are the other two…?", he wondered, searching the bag again, however, no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't find the rest.
It was weird. He looked at the two stones that were in his palm, wondering if he was seeing things wrong.
But just as he lifted his palm, something weird happened.
One of the crystals levitated from his palm and shot towards the helmet and was absorbed by it.
"Wha-"
"What the heck!?", He cursed as he looked at the helmet.
Clearly, the helmet swallowed the mana stone.
"Give it back! Give it back!", He screamed but instead, the other crystal also started levitating and flew towards the helmet only to be absorbed by it.
Rei was left speechless.
He couldn't believe what was happening.
"You glutinous thief!"
"How dare you eat my mana stones!?", Rei was furious.
He couldn't describe his anger.
"Eat me. No no, eat me too!", he shouted in anger because of what the helmet had done, however, he never meant the helmet to actually do what he said!
A floating thumbs-up sign appeared which was followed by a giant holographic mouth.
The helmet ate the goblin due to which its hunger vanished. And then the helmet lived happily ever after with a filled tummy… as if that would happen!
"Ahhhhh." Rei's heartbeat increased as he looked at the giant blue mouth which was wide enough to fit his whole body.
For a second everything around him turned black before regaining colour.
A mouth with many sharp teeth had appeared as he had asked to be eaten and seconds later – the helmet did end up eating him!
Due to this sudden act, he was forced to shut his eyes in fear. But after a few seconds, when he opened his eyes, he found himself unscathed.
"What the hell!?"
Rei looked around him as soon as he regained his sight.
He was in a forest, similar to the previous one but different at the same time.
The trees were longer than the previous one.
Also, unlike the previous forest, this one had a weird peaceful vibe.

Suddenly he heard the sound of birds chirping which shocked him again.
In the forest where he lived, such peaceful chirping sounds couldn't be heard. Some birds were indeed present, but all those had a maniac-like vibe with heavy blood-lust! They were after each others' lives.
He still remembered that when he was just a kid there were so many beautiful and peaceful creatures living, and he would love to hear their voice and look at them. But those were good old days.
He remembered looking at a wildcat when he was a kid. The cat was quite cute and all the kids would giggle looking at it when it would rub its whiskers using its paws and would mimic it.
Remembering that he started mimicking the cat in his memory. Rei started to rub his imaginary whiskers for a second or two.
He stopped doing that seconds later.
He then tried to get a look at the bird that had such a beautiful tone and surely the looks didn't disappoint him.
Looking at the colourful and beautiful bird his mouth was wide open.
-"Close that big mouth of yours. Are you trying to collect the bird's poop and then sell it as a fertilizer?"-
Just as Rei watched the birds, he heard a voice echo in his head.
It was sudden and he didn't exactly care about it for a second.
Hearing the voice, in his head, he quickly closed his mouth quickly.
But then he soon realized that what had happened was not normal!
'I heard a voice… didn't I?'
"…"
"What the hell!?"
"Did I EAT some sort of drug unknowingly?"
"…"
