Ayo's fingers curved into a knuckle attack, striking the man's shoulder. The guy only realized Ayo's presence when it was too late. Ayo's hand covered his face, propelling him forward, crashing him into the TV, which shattered into a spider-webbed mess.

As Ayo stood tall, he suddenly grabbed the hand he'd used to throw the man.

"Ahhh!!! My hand hurts!!! Why does my hand hurt as hell?!!" he cried out in agony.

"AY!!!" a feminine voice called from outside as she entered with the wind.

Her heels found their way into the mouth of the man opposite Ayo, blood spurting as she removed her leg. The other man, attempting to save himself, was about to pull the trigger, but her foot smashed into his head, sending him sprawling.

The remaining two stood at attention, their guns aimed at the woman who had made a grand entrance.

With his other hand, Ayo delivered a powerful slap to one man's face while instantly plunging the other into a state of confusion.

The woman swiftly closed the gap, delivering a punch to the jaw of the confused man, sending him flying to collide with the ceiling before crashing to the floor.

The man Ayo had slapped staggered to his feet, clutching his stomach, and then passed out.

She wrapped her arms around Ayo, hugging him tightly.

"Oh my God, I was so worried about you..." she sobbed as she held him close. She released her embrace and looked around.

"Isn't that Adelaja?" She pointed at the Mohawk guy lying unconscious in a pool of his own blood.

"Did you do that...?"

The last remaining man, who had been keeping a low profile, suddenly rose behind Ayo, a knife pressed against his neck.

"Don't even think of moving! Not in the slightest!" the man warned, the knife threatening Ayo's throat. The woman immediately froze, raising her hands.

He began to maneuver around her, heading towards the door while she watched with her hands visible. As he reached the exit, he released his grip on Ayo and fled through the hallway.

Ayo's eyes widened as the lady dashed past him, leaving a gust of wind in her wake. 'I saw it before and I doubted it... but how can she be so fast...'

After a few seconds of watching the lady in pursuit of the fleeing man, he heard a scream.

"Oh wow..." Ayo muttered, feeling a rush of goosebumps and a sudden relief from the muscle pain in his hand. Even the minor knife scratch on his neck had disappeared.

The lady returned, running effortlessly despite her heeled shoes.

'Her balance must be amazing,' Ayo noted to himself. He responded to her inquiry, "I am fine... but who are you?" he asked, tilting his head.

Her thick, dark brown eyes welled with tears as she covered her mouth. "Ayo, did you hit your head?"

"Yes, earlier today at school. I can't seem to remember a lot of things."

"Oh my God?!! Did someone hit you?! What about the principal, does he know about this?! I will tear them apart."

"Calm down..."

She suddenly paused, and Ayo felt a twinge of anxiety.

'did I say something wrong...' he wondered.

"I think you really did hit your head..." she commented.

"Why? Am I acting weird?" Ayo asked, curious about what he might have done wrong.

"Everything about you right now is wrong... first, you're not yelling at me and sending me away like you usually do, and you hate hearing the words 'calm down.' You're quite oblivious to people's anger and don't seem to care about anything... since your mother died." As she mentioned his mother, her expression changed.

"Weirdly, I can remember my mother's death..."

Her eyes widened as Ayo continued, tears streaming down her face.

"Did I say something I'm not used to saying again?" Ayo asked with an awkward giggle.

"It's been six years since my sister died, and you've never mentioned it. Not even once. You never talked about your pain. You always kept everything buried deep within you. But now, you just spoke about her death casually. Should we go to the hospital?"

Both fell silent...

"Haha... I'm a bit hungry..." Ayo admitted, scratching the back of his head.

"Did you see the jollof rice I packed in your refrigerator?" She asked as they walked inside...

Both paused again.

"It's a mess here..." she remarked as she surveyed the scene.

'Did Ayo really defeat Adelaide...' she wondered, her eyes settling on the man with the Mohawk hairstyle.

"We should probably go to my place. I'll make your favorite Jollof," she suggested.

Ayo's face lit up at her words. He smiled, pocketed his hands, and began to walk towards the end of the hallway, dressed in a black round-necked top and black shorts.

"I should probably pack some clothes for him," his aunt, Shola, muttered to herself, watching her nephew walk away. She hurried inside to gather some clothes.
