As Ayo went deeper, the air grew cooler and he could hear the faint sound of dripping water.
The connection underground was like a labyrinth, he was sure this was the crabs main base. And even while he walked, he saw some clipper crabs, although they were smaller to the ones that he fought. Not once did he see a mature clipper crab.
After several twists and turns, the tunnel opened up into a massive cavern. Ayo's eyes widened in awe. He saw array of eggs. Most of it hatched while the others were still intact.
'There was a mother crab...?' Ayo squinted his face and walked forward, through the line of eggs. He finally reached giant one that sat in the middle. It was cracked and was in fact already decaying.
He turned his eyes to Thyrus.
"This is yours right."
The humanoid crab bowed his head.
