Ayo looked at her, all flushed with embarrassment from the words he had spoken.
"So do you know how to cook?"
He went back to the main matter.
"It probably would take a while for my aunt to be back and I'm kind of hungry so."
"Why don't you order takeout or something."
"Funmi, I'm broke. Apparently, my father has stopped sending allowance. I don't know what is wrong, I hope he hasn't died in one of all these dungeons that keep popping up."
Funmi's brow knitted together to carve out an angelic anger.
"Seriously you..."
"What?" Not sure what she was getting at Ayo raised a brow. What was she getting worked up because he casually said he hoped his father wasn't dead yet?
