When Zareth woke up, he found himself in a small crib in the living room (12x16 feet).
Next to him sat a worried-looking Freya who couldn't take her worried eyes off of him for even a second.
She didn't say anything, but Zareth could tell that she was once again very worried by his talent.
Zareth looked at his father who strutted back and forth, but not in a worried manner.
Instead, he had a smile on his face and looked excited.
He was holding a book in his hands with the title "Basics To Mana."
The poor man was inspired by his own prodigy of a son and wanted to learn magic from this book as well.
Although Drufus had not taken Zareth's insane ability to be too detrimental, Freya on the other hand looked dreadful from the worry.
She was overthinking about all the things that this could possibly lead to.
To the people of this small town, the supreme king of Joutenheim was like a mythical beast that only existed in fairy tales.
To even catch a glimpse of his face was impossible for them to ever achieve.
However, behind all of the awe, the king of Joutenheim was known as a brash and arrogant ruler. One who dominated with an iron fist.
He was rumored to be selfish and to never let any useful material slip out of his grasp.
There had been many talented warriors in the past who were strong enough to be generals but were all chained like dogs under the king's foot.
It was a fate that Freya was frightened of for her own child.
Upon entering this world, Zareth's goal was to become powerful as possible as soon as possible.
He didn't care if anyone saw him train or if anyone knew his power, only hiding in the attic so that his parents wouldn't disturb him.
However, Zareth now noticed that showing his power to this extent may actually pose a real threat to him.
Of course, Zareth knew that this was a possibility from the start when he decided to show all of his affinities in the orb.
However, Zareth did not know much about this world, nor did he assume that he was even that powerful, to begin with.
To him, casting such a weak spell was easy for a one-year-old to do. Or at the very least, it was slightly above par.
Now, Zareth realized that he had to put a little bit of his arrogance away.
No matter what, gaining power was more important.
He was still just a child now. There was no need to rush.
And so, Zareth decided that from now on, he wouldn't show nearly any of the full extent of his power to his parents or anyone else for that matter.
With this goal in mind, Zareth had sort of already come up with a plan that would allow him to train and grow stronger, but also be hidden.
He would sneak out of the house at night time for only about three hours or so, and train outside in the wilderness.
The forest which revolved around Bolnuir was the perfect place to use Hale without getting caught.
On top of that, the forest held far higher contents of mana.
Zareth knew this from the fact that there existed fewer things that used mana in the forest.
Now, all he had to do was get out of this damned crib.
"Out!" Zareth suddenly shouted at Freya, who was slightly taken aback.
"What did you just say?..."
She stood up before picking him up. "Did you just speak?"
Drufus also came near.
"By god, this child was given to us by Mother Gaia herself!" He yelled in excitement.
Freya was still quite dazed from her worry, so she let Drufus take Zareth outside for a while.
'This bastard's obsession with Mother Gaia or whatever is giving me a headache. Truly, what a doofus of a father.' Zareth thought to himself with a slight hint of irritation.
Now that the two were outside in the front yard where Drufus trained, Zareth decided it was a good time to test out some of his stats.
He wanted to see just how easily he could escape from his house, and how much of a chance he would have in the wilderness.
Although his magic might have been far greater than another one-year-old's, he didn't know whether his body held up.
And going into the forest as a weakling was most definitely a no-go.
"Down!" Zareth yelled as he pointed towards the floor.
In his amusement, Drufus let him down.
Surprisingly, this was the first time Zareth had ever touched grass in this new world.
After finding out about his affinities, Freya never let him outside without her or Drufus by his side, so he never got to experience nature first-hand.
Right now, although he was still just a chubby and short one-year-old, Zareth's body was fit enough to be compared to a four-year-old's.
On touching the ground, Zareth immediately began to run around, catching the breeze in his short red hair as he did so.
His cute face was determined and even angry looking.
After multiple seconds, Zareth paused to take a break.
'It seems this body can perform sort of fine.' He thought to himself while slightly panting. 'However, my stamina is horrendous. I definitely cannot escape a single beast in the forest like this.'
After resting a minute or so, Zareth commanded Drufus to bring him a sword.
"Sword!"
Drufus was still joyfully playing along with his child.
He went over to the sword rack before pulling out a large wooden sword broad fit for a grown man and placing it down next to Zareth.
Zareth tried to lift the sword by the hilt with one hand but was far too weak.
He then stomped his feet into the ground before using both of his hands to pull the hilt towards him.
After a couple of seconds, Zareth's face looked to turn red as a tomato from the struggle.
Drufus was rolling around on the floor laughing his ass off. "It hurts! My stomach hurts!"
Finally, the hilt lifted a couple of inches off the ground before falling right back down.
Zareth fell back onto his bum before panting once again.
'My strength is utterly useless as well!' Zareth began to get more discouraged.
'It seems I won't be able to complete the plan which I had in mind with this body...' He thought to himself.
At this moment, Freya stormed out of the house and saw Zareth next to a large wooden sword, and Drufus not paying attention.
A long moment of time passed in which Drufus was rigorously scolded by Freya before Zareth found himself trapped in the crib once again.
His "plan" from before was clearly not going to work. Simply because he wouldn't even get to execute it with this new body.
Now, he came up with a new plan!
'If this body is what is stopping me then this is what I shall work on.'
Zareth pretty much had no other choice. So, instead of sitting around and doing baby things, he would train his body.
Become stronger, faster, and more agile as he grew.
'System, make a workout routine for me that I can do.'
