Lucifel looked around him as if for once, he couldn't tell what voice he was hearing before he replied with gritted teeth, 'How are you awake?'
However, Lucas didn't answer Lucifel's question, instead kept blaming him for the death of the vampiress while Lucifel remained a little disturbed. Just a little because he was sure that the vampiress had merely fainted just like what had happened yesterday, she was going to wake up again after undergoing some treatment, so he tried to tell himself not to get too worked up.
Lucifel's eyes trailed the ground on which Hazel's blood was. He tried to understand how she could bleed this way without any fatal wound. Could it be that she had bled a lot of blood before her wound closed?
That suggestion made no sense because for an injury to be closed, it only meant it was healed, but how would she have lost so much blood while her body remained unbroken?
