"Shit! What the hell is that?" Samuel muttered with horror etched across his face as the enormous eye emerged from the ground beneath them.
The eye, roughly ten meters in diameter, was encased in a writhing mass of black flesh interwoven with pulsing green vines. It was different from the last anomaly they had faced, which had been veined with red. Though, only Clyde who ever saw that creature directly.
This creature was larger, more scarier, and undeniably stronger.
Clyde's grip tightened on the hilt of his Elderglass Sword. The air around filled with with grean and black oppressive energy that made it difficult to breathe.
He swallowed hard, his instincts screaming that this creature was much stronger anomaly than before.
"This one's different," he muttered under his breath. Clyde's eyes narrowed as the creature moved, the pulsing vines contracting like muscles preparing to strike.
