The village being attacked was a small settlement of refugees from other villages, due to bandits and beast attacks the city chose to protect them, but now they were abandoned by the city that was supposed to protect them.
The village has over 20 houses and they were lots of farmers so there were farmlands around and a lot of animals being raised.
