Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE

In the 1799th year...

Neuschwanstein Palace is being watched by all palace officials and the people. They witnessed the death sentence for the queen, Eleanor. The king himself gave orders to his people to witness the execution process. The Queen was charged with betraying the king, she was a spy from the enemy of the kingdom, and also what made the queen more condemned to death was her forbidden story of having an affair with the warlord of the king's trust.

The warlord named Luis Van Edburg was only sentenced to life as a servant and exiled because his services were very large for the glory of the kingdom under the leadership of Adelard de Castama Oliver.

Loud voices heard the screams of the people when they saw their queen bound and closed her eyes. There is no longer the beautiful dress that the queen often wears, the crown that signifies she is the queen of the rulers of this country. They only saw a woman who was about to be sentenced to death and witnessed by the king.

Adelard de Castama Oliver's anger at this time was no joke, he immediately witnessed and decided the punishment for his wife. The pain in his heart for the woman covered the magnitude of the love he had.

His heart ached and hurt when he witnessed with his own eyes when the lover he adored so much was making out with his trusted person. His extraordinary anger at that time made the two people he accused unable to explain the real situation. King Adelard didn't want to hear all their excuses, it was enough for him as he witnessed for himself.

His heart had died right then and there, for him, Eleanor had died even though deep down she still worshiped her lover.

Queen Eleanor bowed languidly, she had no strength. Eleanor knew that today she would die at the hands of the man she had loved all her life. Eleanor was very hurt and she cried all the time, she was not weeping and mourning her death which was obvious in front of her eyes. Queen Eleanor wept because, until the end of her death, the misunderstanding that occurred between her and Adelard still could not be resolved.

The man hated it and threw it away, which made Eleanor hurt. How could he die peacefully when he saw his lover was not by his side and said the gentle and adoring words to him that Adelard used to say to him?

At the end of his death, he regretted that the man had to witness his death so harbored an intense hatred for him.

Eleanor remembers when they used to trust each other with feelings for each other, understand each other and the man never let her get hurt even to the tip of the fingernail.

Adelard de Castama Oliver was a ruler who was known to be very cruel. But, in her eyes, the man when she was with her was a loving man and always gentle with him.

Adelard de Castama Oliver loves him very much, he knows that and everyone knows that fact whoever deals with the queen is dealing with him, whoever makes the queen cry, then he is the first person who will kill anyone who hurts her lover.

The jealousy of the palace officials towards Queen Eleanor had already been heard in Adelard's ears, so at that moment Adelard punished anyone who objected to the existence of the queen by his side.

Adelard de Castama Oliver's love for Eleanor was evident when most of the kings had many concubines, but he never had any. For him, there was only one woman by his side, Eleanor. Many advisers and royal officials were against him but not Adelard de Castama Oliver if he was easily pressured and controlled by anyone.

The soldiers splashed water all over Eleanor's weak body, she slowly opened her eyes. When she first opened her eyes she saw her lover staring at her with hatred, Eleanor smiled faintly she was happy to see the man. For him to know the man was the last most beautiful gift when his death had arrived.

Adelard de Castama Oliver.

He stared hatefully at the woman, the woman who broke his heart and hurt him. His heart hurt so much when she looked at him with a smile, a smile full of fakes for him.

Adelard was embarrassed, he didn't want to see that smile anymore because he was afraid his heart would weaken. With a cold look and a loud voice, he said "Is there something you want to say on the verge of your death?"

Eleanor shook her head weakly, she accepted it all. It was useless for her to say what she wanted to say because the man didn't believe her. To Eleanor, the sun had long since died when he no longer believed in it.

His life would never be happy again when the man turned to hate him, he would rather die than have to accept such great hatred from Adelard.

Adelard was a little annoyed because there was no request or defense from the woman, he had hoped that she would beg him not to be sentenced to death, at least if she begged him then he might think about another sentence for Eleanor.

King Adelard walked towards the place where Queen Eleanor would be executed, he looked closely at the woman, although the woman's face was very pale and had many bruises and scars and her body became very thin but the beauty that radiated from her never disappeared.

Adelard's heart ached to see how much suffering the woman he loved so much, he wanted to hug her and forgive Eleanor's mistake, but she never asked or begged him. The woman only asked for an accelerated sentence.

Eleanor smiled warmly at Adelard at a very close distance, the face of the man she missed so much and never forgot even though he hated her.

"Thank you," Eleanor stammered in her weak voice.

"Is there no wish at the end of your life? Maybe, I can fulfill your last wish!" said Adelard with arrogance.

Eleanor once again shook her head weakly, for her the last gift for her had been granted, which was to look closely at the face of the man she loved so much.

King Adelard showed his anger, then he drew his favorite sword, then he slashed directly at Eleanor's stomach.

With a single stroke of her sword, Eleanor's body collapsed onto Adelard's, blood dripping down her robes. For a moment Eleanor smiled and tears welled up in her eyes. In her last breath, she could still hug the man.

Eleanor closed her eyes peacefully, she smiled at the end of her life, she was happy even though the lover she loved so much killed her but the man still hugged her warmly.

I didn't feel the tears falling slowly on Eleanor's face and those were the tears of the king, the tears of the two mixed, and the sky suddenly darkened and lightning struck each other as if angry at the inhabitants of the earth.

Heavy rain fell, King Adelard did not budge and move, and no one dared to forbid or order the king to leave the body of the queen who had been lying stiff.

His heart had died, and his love had been taken to death by the woman who lay stiff in his arms.

The heavy rain hid his deep wound.

The lover of his heart has died at his own hands...

His chest hurt so much, this wound he couldn't understand.
