QUAN
"No, kid. You'll get us caught. We'll die!" the old man said as he dragged Quan down. His skin face was thin, his white beard was as long as a fishing net, and his white hair was as messy as palm fiber.
It stinks. Refuges were indebted to Shu Shu, but when that girl needed assistance, they acted like this instead. They are selfish.
They made Quan think of himself. He was an egotistical figure who cared about himself, and Quan despised himself for it now.
Several men and women assisted in bringing Quan down. "Come down, son." They were weak and poorly fed, but there were many of them. Their energy rivals that of a hunky man.
"You fools!" Quan slammed his hand against the floor above, lifting it. He peered through the gap in the floor. Shu Shu's body was on the dusty wooden floor, sweating under the big man's pressure. The sword's tip desired to pierce the petite girl's chest. She was Quan's assistant. Without her, Quan might have had a life worse than death. "You fools, let me go!"
He stepped on the old man's head below. I was able to break the floor. Quan crawled quickly until he tripped and fell. He noticed a man's crotch above the girl's flailing legs. He squeezed the male genital ball, causing him to scream, and the sword slipped from his grasp.
He returned his gaze to Quan. "Damn you, brat!" Shu Shu slashed his neck with his dagger, and blood poured out like a waterfall hitting the river rock. He convulsed and collapsed. His eyes have turned white, and he has stopped moving.
Shu Shu pushed him to the side. Her chest expanded and contracted. She was flat on her back, mouth agape and arms outstretched. Her face was red with dried blood. Her clothes were soaked in blood, staining the white skin on her arms.
Quan was crawling. His expression indicated that he was about to touch a girl. "Are you okay?"
"Thanks. Move aside; you're close!" Shu Shu stood up and rubbed her face. "You are the third prince?"
Quan nodded and looked up, his palms on the floor.
"You are weak. Are you alone?"
"No." Quan said, shaking his head. He raised his brows and hugged the girl's legs while looking up. "My two Brothers! They need help. Come on, come on, help them." Stammered, he stood up and reached for the girl's hand, but she drew away.
"I can walk alone. Come on, show me the location."
Shu Shu followed Quan into the heart of Shicuan. He was holding her nose there. "Bastard. They said they wanted to move everyone to another city."
"Who?"
"Han."
"They're bastards. Come on, hurry, that, that's my brother. You have to help hum."
"Me? Then what's your job as a man? Carry him!" He smacked Quan on the head. "Come on, you man, bring your brother to safety!"
"I…."
"Men can't be soft! I imagine how your wife will be. Tch." Shu Shu yanked Bian's arm, but her strength was no parable. Bian had the body of an elephant, whereas the girl was petite.
Quan snorted as he attempted to assist his brother by lifting his leg. "Argh, heavy, it's too heavy."
"You camp. It's useless, handsome, but soft!"
The sentence slap is more painful. Quan remained silent. He would have been enraged if he had been insulted, but not right now. Quan couldn't be upset with his savior. His heart was in pain.
Several elderly women and men arrived. They assisted Shu Shu in dragging Bian's massive body. It appears that their bravery has returned.
Quan searched for his second brother alongside several coughing old men. When they saw the destroyed house, and started sobbed.
"That, that, that is my Brother." Bian said, pointing to Kan, who was dozing against the wall. He was covered in blood and sticky sweat when he picked it up.
Shu Shu and the other Sichuan residents led the two princes to their place in the city temple.
The sky was darkening. The light from several bonfires in the monastery's central courtyard illuminated it.
Residents eat anything to keep their stomachs full. They eat mice and insects and boil grass.
"I'm hungry. Can I eat the flesh of the corpse?" inquired the thin man. His gaze was drawn to the two bodies.
Quan was depressed. He felt worthless. He hugged his legs in the corner of the room. Above the knee chin.
During this time, he went on a spending spree. Money was everything to him. His favorite was beauty. He was hungry, afraid, and weak right now.
"Hey, mushy. Here, eat it." Shu Shu said, dividing the bowls of grass soup and rat tails between them.
Normally, Quan would vomit, throw away the trash, and chastise the person who had given him the trash. His stomach, on the other hand, was empty. He scarfed down the rancid-smelling soup.
"Thank you for helping me earlier," Shu Shu said.
"You helped me. My name is Kun Quan." Quan and Shu Shu shook hands and exchanged names.
"Are you the prince?" Shushu inquired. Sitting cross-legged with a bowl half-full of soup.
"Yes, that's right. What's wrong?"
"I don't believe that Kun has weak men, not to mentioning his princes. Hah, I heard that all Kun's men are strong..." She ate his soup with a spoon.
"Yeah, I think I'm special. How are my two brother?"
"Your slender brother is tired. Meanwhile, the thise elephant has many injuries. He is critical and needs a doctor. If not, he will die."
Quan agreed to sign. His gaze was fixed on the soup in the bowl. He should have been relieved when his Duke rival died, but today changed everything. He... He understood the importance of family and the difficulties of living within the capital's walls. He didn't want to see his brother die.
"Is there a healer around here?"
"There is, there is, but he…." Shu Shu moved his gaze to the opposite end of the room. An elderly man sits cross-legged and meditates. Her eyes were shielded by a white cloth. "Uncle Hu Ta Bi is healing after donating one of his eyes to a man.
